April Fools (F)

"I wanna break up." Jennie said seriously. 

Lisa searched for any signs of hesitation on the brunette's face but didn't find any. The words escaped Jennie's lips causally, Lisa knew she was certainty faking it but it pinched something in her heart. 

She thinks to herself, Oh man, this isn't gonna be as easy as I thought.

She's so good at this. Why does she has to go too extreme every time.

Jennie's lip twitched which snaps Lisa back to reality. She consciously found herself gaping at the other girl.

 "Uhm.." she looked down at her feet, unable to find words. C'mon Lisa say something! She'll probably think you're losing .

Jennie crossed her arms in a sudden movement, her posture poised as usual. "Well? Don't you have anything to say?"

The blonde finally manages to meet her eyes, "I think we should split up, yeah." She gulped. 

Jennie's eyebrows furrow. Okay that's a good sign, she's buying it.

She continued, "I thought about it a lot. Last night ,me and Diana.. went to Jisoo's house after her modelling gig and we-"

"You what?!" Jennie asks venomously. 

Before answering, Lisa takes a note of her impatient expression. How her eyes seem to hold anger but also a sense of hurt. Her eyebrows pressed together, her jaw clenching, her fists which form balled by the sides. 

Wow I might die tonight.

"I.. we kinda got close last night "

Jennie took slow steps towards her, it took all of Lisa's might to play cool. 

"How close?" Her eyes now seem to be devoid of any emotion. It takes Lisa back in time when Jennie and she used to be enemies.

"We..kissed" She half heartedly blurts out. 

Without a word, Jennie rolls her eyes and takes a step to leave the room. 

Oh crap.

Just then Lisa catches her by her wrist 

"Hon I'm kidding! I swear nothing happened! It was just a lie I made up with Jisoo to win the bet. Jennie I-" 

She was cut off by the brunette who doesn't turn around to see her, "Whatever Lisa. We're over." 

Oh no no this can't be.

"Jennie please, listen to me" her voice broke a little. "This was all supposed to be a stupid game. Jennie, I would neve-"

"No Lisa, be it a game or not. I don't wanna see you again." The words come out of her mouth like a train, hitting her hard. 

She starts to feel hot tears welling up in her eyes, 

"Nini, look at me please." 

The last word almost comes as whisper, she tries to turn her around by cupping one side of her face. The brunette stands like a statue. "I can't even look at you right now " 

What have I done..

Finally she moves, her free hand goes up, covering her mouth. "But..." Her shoulders started to shake. 

Oh no, Is she crying?

Lisa stays in her place still until Jennie turns around and starts giggling
