One morning, Lisa and her friends were eating breakfast when Sorn was teasing Lisa about Diana.

"I've seen the way she looks at you."

"And?"

"Come on Lis, don't tell me you're not a little bit interested."

But before Lisa could answer, they were interrupted by the sound of a fork loudly clashing with the plate. They turned to look at Jennie who was stabbing her food with vigor, muttering curses under her breath.

"Woah, what did that carrot ever do to you?" Bambam asked to which Jennie ignored.

"Nini," Lisa said carefully, "Is something wrong?"

Jennie then whirled to face Lisa with a killer gaze that Sorn had to lean back in defense.

"Why? Does it look like something's wrong? Does it? "Jennie hissed.

"Uhhh," Sorn faltered.

"Whatever, I'm out of here." Jennie stormed off to her room, slamming the door shut.

"What just happened?"

Lisa shrugged. "I don't know, but I'll try to see what's up."

Lisa trudged to Jennie's door and knocked.

"Jennie?"

When there was no answer, Lisa opened the door and went inside. Jennie was lying in bed, facing the wall.

"Are you okay?"

"Why don't you ask Diana?" Jennie mumbled.

There it is.

Lisa sighed. "Hon, you know they're just messing around right?"

"Whatever, I'm going to sleep."

"At two in the evening?"

When Jennie didn't respond, Lisa crawled on the bed beside her and hugged her from behind.

"You know you're the only one I like, right?" Lisa whispered against the nape of Jennie's neck tightening her hug on the brunette.

A moment later, Jennie turned around and pressed her head against Lisa's chest, hugging her back as their legs tangled together. Lisa kissed the top of Jennie's head, breathing in her scent, as their heartbeats fell in sync.

The next day, they were invited to Jisoo and Rosie's apartment for a small dinner party. When they arrived, Lisa and Jennie sat at opposite sides of the table in order to avoid suspicion. Diana arrived a little later, and to Jennie's annoyance, she sat next to Lisa.

As the evening progressed, the friends were happily catching up with each other while they dug into their food. Lisa was chatting with Bambam about the open-mic that they were planning on going to when he suddenly grinned and pulled out three tickets.

"Actually, I scored another ticket, and I already asked Diana to join us."

Lisa risked a glance at Jennie and oh booy was she mad. Her veins were noticeably bulging, and she was holding a .... butter knife? so tightly that her knuckles turned white. Lisa knew that she had to say something before it turned into a bloodbath.

"When is that again?" Lisa grabbed the ticket from Bambam's hand and pretended to look at the date.

"Oh shoot I just remembered, there was this last–minute thing Mina wanted me to do on this day. I don't think I can go," Lisa said with fake disappointment in her voice.

Bambam frowned. "But you promised."

Trust me, Bam. If I said yes, both our dead asses won't be able to go, was what Lisa wanted to say.

But all she said was, "I know, I know, and I'm sorry. You guys are gonna have to have fun without me."

Lisa could see Jennie visibly relax as she set the knife down. Crisis averted. At least for now.

Once they finished eating, Sorn suggested a game of dare and dare. And it was all fun and games until it was Diana's turn.

"I dare you to kiss Lisa."

Bad, bad idea, Sorn.

Lisa watched as Diana turned to her, and her entire body froze. But before Diana could lean in closer, they heard the sound of a chair loudly scraping the floor as they watched Jennie get up from her seat and take long strides towards Lisa. Jennie then straddled Lisa's lap, cupping the surprised blonde's face, and kissed her fervently.

When they pulled apart, Jennie got up from Lisa's lap and narrowed her eyes at the stunned faces.

"Do we have a problem here?"

Their friends shook their heads vigorously.

"Try that shit again, and I will skin you alive and feed your remains to the wolves, capeesh?" Jennie warned, peering at all of them in turn.

They nodded.

Jennie then turned to Diana, her arms crossed and feet tapping impatiently.

"What, are you waiting for me to drag your sorry ass out of that chair?"

Diana stumbled out of the chair, almost tripping, and scurried to another one as Jennie claimed her rightful place next to Lisa.

Lisa stared at Jennie in horror whereas Jennie just smiled at her sweetly as if she just didn't threaten the entire room. Jennie then leaned in and pressed a soft kiss on Lisa's cheek while interlacing her fingers with hers, placing their hands on the table as if to remind everyone that Lisa was hers.
