Five Years Ago...
"Oh my god, oh my god. My first day in college, and I’m going to be late. Where the hell is my I-card?" Ruhi panicked, searching frantically around the house.
"Ruhi!" her mom called out from the kitchen.
"Y... Yes, Mom?" Ruhi responded, slightly distracted.
"How long will you take?" her mom asked, sounding slightly annoyed.
"I can’t find my I-card, Mom," Ruhi replied, still rummaging through her belongings.
"There’s your I-card on that table. See?" her mom pointed out calmly.
Ruhi let out a sigh of relief as she grabbed the card. "Oh, thank God. Mom, you’re my lifesaver!"
"Good. Now have your breakfast quickly," her mom instructed.
"Mom, I’ll be late for college. I’ll eat something in the cafeteria," Ruhi said hurriedly, heading toward the door.
"No, eat properly now," her mom insisted.
"Sorry, Mom. Love you, bye!" Ruhi replied, grabbing a piece of bread and rushing out.

As she walked to college, Ruhi thought to herself, How nice it would’ve been if Anshi and I were studying in the same college. But her family admitted her to another college in another city. New college, new people... I don’t even know anyone here.

"Hey, excuse me. Can you tell me where the office room is?" Ruhi asked a passing student.
"Second floor. Go straight from Room 16, then turn right," the student replied helpfully.
"Thank you!" Ruhi said, grateful for the directions.
She followed them, collected her syllabus from the office, and went to her classroom. The schedule revealed she only had three classes for the day.

Cafeteria
After attending two classes, Ruhi decided to have lunch in the cafeteria. She scanned the room for an empty seat when a cheerful voice interrupted her.
"Hello!" a girl greeted her.
"Hi!" Ruhi responded, looking up.
"Can I sit here? Actually, all the seats are full," the girl asked with a smile.
"Yeah, sure. You can," Ruhi replied.
"Thanks. By the way, I’m Esha," the girl introduced herself as she sat down.
"And I’m Ruhi," Ruhi said with a polite nod.
"Ohh. Nice to meet you, Ruhi," Esha said warmly.
"Nice to meet you too," Ruhi replied.
