They are allowed to attack in the Library in defense of it given guns that will not destroy books to prevent accidental destruction of a book in the Library. They also have a map that expands as fast as the Library to aid any who enter with the Serpent's Hand considering them the only 'pure' of the foundation. And before anyone asks yes Dr.Bright is banned from the Wanderer's Library still with the Serpent saying "He is chaos incarnate and him being in my Library will result in a likely destruction of a majority of the Library.
