surprisingly, cecilia woke up on time. she knew rory was gonna be nervous for her first day. to be honest, cecilia was nervous too. this would be the first time in their whole school career that they wouldn't be in the same school. it was nerve wracking. cecilia gets out of bed and picks out an outfit for the day, which consisted of a baggy dark green sweater and black leggings with black boots. she quickly does her hair before she rushes to rory's room downstairs. when she gets downstairs she knocks on rory's door and walks in.
"hey, there's my favorite sister!" she says before plopping onto rory's bed. rory rolls her eyes.
"i'm your only sister cel" roar says with a chuckle. cecilia took a look at her sister. there she is, in her new uniform. cecilia can't help but feel emotional. rory looks at her through the mirror.
"oh come on cel. don't be upset! just think of it this way! new beginning's!" rory says trying to cheer up her younger sister.
"yeah, i guess. oh! have you talked to dean at all?" cel asks her sister trying to change the subject.
"no i haven't and you won't either!" rory warns her sister.
she knows what she would do. she would talk to dean and he would get weirded out about how protective cecilia is to her sister.
"oh please! come on!" cecilia begs her sister like a child.
"no"
"whatever" cel says while rolling her eyes.
"hey, do you know if mom is awake?" rory asks cecilia.
"um i'm not sure. do you wanna go and check?" she suggests. rory nods and they both start to head upstairs.
the girls head into their moms room, only to find out she's still asleep.
"mom!" rory yells.
"mom! are you serious?" cecilia yells too. their mom is scared awake.
"what? god. hi" lorelai whines.
"what are you doing?" rory asks her.
"having a heart attack" lorelai says seriously.
"mom, it's 7:10" cecilia tells her mom.
"what?" their mom says confused.
"it's 7:10" rory repeats her sister. rory grabs her mothers pillow.
"stop it! it's a quarter to six" lorelai says frustrated with her daughters.
"no it's not!" cecilia says. she can not believe her mom has slept through her alarm.
"yes it is! i set the alarm for a quarter to six. so it's-" lorelai says before she is interrupted by rory shoving her alarm clock in her face.
"it's 7:10" lorelai says while jumping out of bed.
