cecilia needed to talk to miles. she needed to know why he kissed her. what brought him to do that? it's monday morning and miles has been ignoring all of her calls. cecilia hasn't told her mom or sister. she didn't want to talk about this with them. she needed to figure it out of her own.
cecilia woke up this morning dreading to go to school cause he would be there. she got ready and said bye to her mom and sister and started to walking. as she was walking, she saw him. she paused. should she run up to him? try to talk to him?
she makes the decision to go and talk to him. she started running up to him.
"miles! miles! wait please come on! let's talk please!" she yells at him. he stops walking and turns around.
"what cecilia?" he says. she was taken a back by his attitude.
"we need to talk about friday" she says short.
"what happened friday?" he asks. cecilia looked at him like he is crazy. 'how could he forget?' she thought.
"miles you know what i'm talking about" she tells him. he sighs and rubs his face.
"cecilia, it shouldn't have happened. i was upset about an argument i had with my parents and it just... kinda happened" he says to her. she looked at him shocked. how was this a mistake? he didn't mean it?
she didn't want to believe it. it meant something to her. she thought maybe this was it. maybe he realizes his feelings for her, but she was wrong. she didn't just wanna be best friends. not anymore.
"cel, i don't want that to ruin our friendship. please? you mean too much to me for me to lose" he begs her. cecilia stands there and thinks about it. of course she wishes it can be more, but she would do anything for him to stay in her life. even if that meant her pushing down her feelings for him.
"okay, fresh start" she says to him. he smiles big and hugs her. the continued to act normally during the week. like the kiss that took place never happened.
*skip to friday dinner*
"tomorrow our lawyer, joseph stanford, is coming by" grandma says. cecilia didn't really care and was to busy eating to pay attention.
"ugh. crazy sissy's dad" lorelai says. this sparks her attention.
"that's terrible. sissy was a good friend of yours" grandma says. the twins look up at each other, knowing where this is conversation is heading.
"mom, sissy talked to her stuffed animals and they answered her" their mom says. rory sends cecilia a looks.
"let's start a new topic" cecilia says quickly. rory nods in agreement.
