"cel! come on the show is starting" rory yells from the living room.
"i'm coming hold on! do you want popcorn or not?" cecilia yells back to her sister from the kitchen
once the popcorn is finished cecilia runs back to the living room and jumps on the couch next to her sister who throws the blanket over her sisters leg.
they both start to eat the popcorn, after awhile starting to get bored with the show.
"so how do you feel about mom going out with mr.medina?" cecilia questions. she herself is having a hard time adjusting to the fact her mom is now dating someone. she can't imagine what rory is thinking since it's her teacher.
"i don't know. i mean max makes her happy and i want what's best for her" she states.
"woah wait what? you're calling him max?" cecilia says confused
"i mean yeah. he asked me too" she says shyly.
"oh"
"what?"
"nothing"
"cel come on don't be mad"
"i'm not mad roar. it's just weird. i mean it's been just us for all of our lives and now. here's this man that comes walking in... i just don't know how i feel about him"
"all i ask is you give him a chance. for me cel?"
cecilia sighs. "fine. for you i will give him a chance"
"good" she smiles.
the pair continued to watch tv until cecilia fell asleep on rory's shoulders, not knowing her mom came home.

cecilia was leaving school as she was reading her book, not paying attention to her surroundings.
"hey gilmore!" a familiar voice rang.
she looked up and saw ethan leaning against his truck, this brought a big smile to her face.
"ethan!" she yelled out and ran toward him. he picked her up and hugged her.
he let go and she playfully shoved his chest.
"what are you doing here? shouldn't you be at school?" she says with a smile.
"we got out early and i wanted to see you" he says with a smirk and he twirls a loose strand of her hair between his fingers.
"well that's very nice of you. i missed you" she says
"i missed you too" he says as he leans down to kiss her.
