After thinking Massimo had gotten the girls home, Noelle decided on heading home too. She entered the kitchen, her heart stopping momentarily at the sight of Mac sitting next to two soldiers in the kitchen. She quickly assessed the situation, knowing the soldiers could have revealed their true identities, but the chance of Mac being so calm told her otherwise. Noelle quickly commanded the boys to leave - a authority she had as a perk of being in Capo's trusted inner circle.
As the boys unwillingly left, Noelle approached the younger blonde and took a seat next to her. Mac looked at her with confusion in her eyes; had Noelle followed her?
"What are you doing here?" Mac asked, her voice slurred. Noelle respectfully asked the chiefs to leave the room so they could speak freely.
"I live here too," Noelle explained, trying to read Mac's face.
"Oh. I didn't know that. I'm only here because I didn't want to leave Marley alone with Massimo, I don't know him, for all I know, he could've drugged her, so he offered me to join," she shrugged, and was about to drink more of what the boys had given her, but Noelle took it from her, thinking she had enough.
"Hey!" Mac said, and reached for it, but Noelle took her arm in a tight grip as she put the glass further away with her other hand, not thinking that might scare her. She was only looking out for her. Mac rolled her eyes to herself; she had enough of the dark-haired girl's unexplainable behavior. She got her hand out of Noelle's grip and stood up.
"Sorry to bother you," she muttered, and was ready to start walking, but her body wasn't, so she collapsed. Luckily, Noelle's reflexes were quicker. She caught the blonde right before she face-planted.
"You never bother me," Noelle smiled while still holding Mac, before helping her to her feet.
"What's the matter with your mood swings then?" she asked, leaning against the stool.
"I don't really think straight when I'm around you," Noelle admitted, thinking Mac was so drunk she wouldn't remember this conversation tomorrow anyways.
"Marley is sleeping, and -," Massimo said entered the kitchen, but stopped talking when he saw Noelle sitting there with Mac. He had figured there was something going on there.
"I'll take it from here," Noelle said, not taking her eyes of Mac. Her promise to Madison to watch over Mac was something she intended to keep. She was determined to keep her safe, something she wouldn't be if she was to wander around in this villa by herself.
Noelle wasn't sure herself why, but she wanted to learn everything she could about the blonde. There was something about her, besides her looks, that intrigued Noelle. She was her best friend's sister, but it was more than that. Mac was also the only one who had rejected her, which only made her want her more.
Suddenly, a replay of the evening news caught their attention on the TV that hung above them, reporting the third disappearance of a politician that week. Mac's eyes widened in horror at the news. They were speculating if it was the work of a mafia gang. Noelle quickly grabbed the remote, and turned the TV off. She changed the topic fast, not wanting Mac to think that there existed mafia in this town. If Mac only knew that the politician was in the basement...
"Do you want your own room or do you want to sleep with me?" Noelle asked directly, placing a hand on Mac's thigh, squeezing lightly. Mac felt heat between her thighs, and smiled.
"Isn't it only fair that I get to see your room too?" she winked and put her hand on Noelle's.
"Alright, follow me," Noelle winked, leading Mac with to her bedroom.
