The night air was filled with anticipation as the luxurious villa prepared to host Mac's 18th birthday party. The grand entrance was adorned with elegant black and gold decorations, setting the tone for the celebration. Inside the villa, the main hall was transformed into a glamorous ballroom, with chandeliers casting a soft glow. A black grand piano stood in the corner, a pianist ready to fill the air with melodies. The bar was stocked with the finest spirits and glittered with crystal glasses. Outside, the sprawling garden was lit with fairy lights, creating a magical vibe.

As the clock struck 6 pm, guests started to arrive, all dressed in black. The guests started to mingle, and the inner circle, dressed in their best black ensembles, gathered at the heart of the middle of the room. Noelle, in a stunning form-fitting black gown, couldn't take her eyes off Mac, who made a grand entrance descending the grand staircase.

Mac's dress was a masterpiece, a floor-length, black gown that hugged her curves. The dress featured a tasteful slit, revealing just a glimpse of her toned leg with each step. Her blonde hair cascaded in loose waves that cascaded down her shoulders, and a subtle smoky eye accentuated her piercing blue eyes. As she descended the staircase, the room fell into a silence, the spotlight seemingly, and literally, drawn to her.

Noelle's breath caught in her throat as she watched Mac gracefully make her way down. The love and admiration in her eyes were undeniable. Once Mac reached the bottom, Noelle offered her arm, and they walked together into the celebration.

"Wow, you look breathtaking," Noelle smiled looking at her.

"Only for you," she replied, leaning in for a gentle kiss.

Michelle approached Mac with a smile, "happy birthday, Mackenzie. You look absolutely stunning."

"Thank you, Capo," Mac replied with a gracious smile, her eyes scanning the room as she took in the extravagant setting. The atmosphere was charged with excitement, and the scent of exotic flowers mingled with the fragrance of carefully selected candles.

A few minutes later, Michelle stepped onto the stage, capturing the attention.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us tonight to celebrate Mackenzie's 18th birthday," Michelle began. "Mackenzie, my dear, you stand at the threshold of adulthood, and with it, the responsibilities that come with being a part of our world. You are not just an heir to a legacy; you are a symbol of the strength that runs through the veins of our alliance. Tonight, we honor you."

The crowd responded with a round of applause, their acknowledgment echoing through the grand ballroom.

"May Mac's journey into adulthood be marked by wisdom, courage, and an unwavering commitment to the ideals that define us. As she takes her place among us, may she find strength in the unity of our family," Michelle proclaimed, raising her glass high.

The crowd responded with a collective toast, the clinking of glasses filling the air. Michelle stepped back, her gaze shifting to Mac, who stood at the center of the celebration, blushing.

After the speech, Noelle linked her arm with Mac's, and together they walked through the crowd of guests and exchanged greetings. Noelle introduced her to all the important guests, and Mac received congratulations and expensive gifts from all of them.

"This is Isabella, Antonio and their son Leo Moretti," Noelle said as they met with Isabella, her husband and their oldest son at the bar, "Isabella, this is Mac, the birthday girl," she introduced with a warm smile. Isabella belonged to one of the oldest families in the DeCavalcante mafia, making her and her son very important. The whole family were tall with dark, curly hair and fair skin. Leo quickly looked Mac up and down before taking a sip of his drink. He was only a couple of years older than her.
