You didn't want to tell Jeonghan. This could potentially end their friendship.

'Did he do something to you? Or say something worse?'

'Promise you won't get mad?'

'Y/n aegi, I can't promise that'

You knew Jeonghan was going to be mad and what worse if Seungcheol and Minghao learnt what Joshua did? All members of Seventeen were protective of you but mostly the three of them. With almost every member having skills in fighting, you knew what they were capable of, especially Seungcheol.

'I'll tell you when I'm ready. Just not yet'

Jeonghan sighed. He knew he couldn't push you into telling him. It was your choice.

After you calmed down and you went back to your room with Jeonghan's help, the three of them headed back home, getting Vernon to take care of you.

'Did she say what happened?'

'No. She wasn't willing to tell me what happened but she did say something about Joshua'

'Right... where was he? He called but he wasn't around'

You didn't see Seungcheol and Minghao after Jeonghan so Jeonghan had to explain the situation from his perspective.

'Call Joshua. Demand him back home now'

'Cheol. Calm down'

Jeonghan held onto Seungcheol's hand, slowly rubbing it. Minghao was driving.

'Why am I always unable to protect her? She always gets hurt and what's worse? This time it's by our member. Our closest person'

Jeonghan knew Seungcheol was close to hyperventilating and on the verge of breaking down. Maybe he already broke down.

Pecking his temple and rubbing a hand on his back was the only way Jeonghan could calm Seungcheol down.

'You are doing great protecting her. No one expected this to happen. You don't know but Y/n always talks about how much she loves her appa and how thankful she is to finally feel the protection from her appa'

'Really?' Seungcheol looked at Jeonghan with glistening eyes.

Jeonghan nodded. It was true. You always talked about how much you were thankful for Seungcheol appa to Jeonghan. You weren't vocal about 'I love you's directly to the Seungcheol but you always somehow made Jeonghan know.

'But why doesn't she come to me? I always feel like I'm missing out so much on her life. She is 17 but she's growing so fast'

'HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA' Jeonghan and Minghao couldn't help but laugh.

'Hey~ why are you two laughing!' Seungcheol started whining.

'You sound like an old man watching his daughter grow'

'She is my child and it feels nice. You know? This fatherly instinct'

They gave their leader a little warm smile.

It's warm to know how much my members care for Y/n but I also know this will change if Y/n's identity gets known. Joshua better watch his back. I don't know what he did but if it was enough to make Y/n in the state she was earlier, I don't think I am ready to forgive him yet. Joshua has never spoken to Y/n before so this sudden 'meet up' seems highly suspicious. Especially since it's at night. I guess I would just have to wait for one of them to confess what happened.
