After the discussion, you went to your room and looked at your phone. 3 missed calls and 7 new messages from an unknown number.

Minghao had asked you for your number for easy contact and you decided to give him your private number.

(Next day)

'Good morning!'

You turned around and saw Minghao smiling widely.

'Why are you in such a good mood today?' You were confused how Minghao was so happy in the morning. Even though you were a morning person, it still wasn't a good enough reason to be as happy or active as Minghao.

'I... I finally have a friend who doesn't mind my identity. I hope you can keep the secret I told you yesterday?' Minghao looked at you so hopefully.

You nodded. Being in this line of work meant it was hard to find actual true friends who you could trust. Internally, you felt guilty. Minghao trusted you, yet you didn't trust him enough to reveal your true identity.

Both of you headed to class but had to split ways since you had a different lesson from him. You waved him goodbye and walked into class. You kept your head down, not daring to look at anyone since you were new and too scared to meet new people. Everyone's eyes was focused on you. You were the only newly enrolled kid and was the youngest in the whole school.

Time skip 2 months

'You know Xu Minghao?' You looked up and saw a girl glaring at you.

'He is my assigned buddy' You expected this to happen given Minghao's identity.

'Stay away from him. He is mine'

You weren't even competing with her, or anyone, for him. You were just his younger junior and you knew he wouldn't even date, not like he could anyways. Ignoring the girl, you listened in class and took down notes occasionally.

(After lesson)

'Y/n! Let's go for lunch!'

Minghao led you to his car and drove off to a restaurant a little far from school.

'Why couldn't we eat in school? Or somewhere nearer'

'I don't like the way people stare when I eat and especially now that I have you, your safety will be compromised. Also, I want you to meet some people'

You stayed silent. You didn't expect Minghao to care about your safety.

'We are here. Kim's Family Restaurant'

Both of you went in and as if it was his own restaurant, Minghao led you straight to a private room.

'Are you sure we can just enter like that? Everyone wa-'

You couldn't finish your sentence as Minghao opened the door to the private room and you were greeted by 10 other pairs of eyes.

They all waved while you bowed to each and everyone of them. Minghao guided you to a seat between him and Wonwoo as he took his seat beside Junhui. (It is a round table)

'Stop being so paranoid! I said it was fine'

Someone was whining as two people walked into the room.

'See! Everyone is already here!'

'Y/n, those two are Yoon Jeonghan and Choi Seungcheol. The oldest two of the group'

'Yah! SEO MYUNGHO! Why did you have to say my full name?'

The so-called 'Choi Seungcheol' strode over to Minghao and head locked him.

'Seungcheol ah, we have a kid with us now, don't scare her!'

Seungcheol immediately released Minghao's head and looked at you. You're eyes widened, shocked from the earlier scene where Seungcheol had changed character so fast.

'Annyeonghaseyo, Y/n imnida, mannaseo bangapseumnida (nice to meet you)'

You bowed at him and Jeonghan. They both took their place between Joshua and Hoshi.

Throughout the meal, you kept your head down. You could feel Joshua and Jeonghan staring at you.
