Their uniforms were all the same. Each and every student there wore the lavender turtleneck and though it seemed as if it would be a struggle to find each other in the vast crowds, they managed to find each other easily.

It seemed it was especially easy for Jaemin. They weren't exactly private with their relationship but it wasn't as if they were telling anyone that would listen. Each time the caramel haired would spot one or both of them, he'd run right up and greet them, stars in his eyes and sometimes, he'd bring them a cup of coffee in the mornings although they struggled to drink it.

Jaemin was getting comfortable with the other students he didn’t live with, life still being hard to fully get close to them but he was managing. It was probably favouritism since he had no problem with his boyfriends but hey, at least he was trying. He had had run-ins with the three that had nearly punched the lights out of him, the set wearily watching him as he’d occasionally slip in and out of the Satanist and Wiccan dorms but not once did they bother him which he considered a win although he had the stares.

On days after Jeno had played sports, Jaemin would invite them over and send Mark to Donghyuck─ he was near certain there was something going on between them, but he wasn't fully sure─ he'd then massage Jeno's sore limbs and then Renjun by default. In return, the two were constantly dragging him around on midnight expeditions and buying him expensive things, courtesy of Jeno just having a wealthy family and Renjun having Kunhang’s card, which had him embarrassed. He loved both of them, he really did and when Christmas rolled around and the ground got a sudden layer of snow, surprising everyone, Jaemin took advantage of that and used it to cuddle against his two boyfriends at times they didn’t have class.

The school didn’t give them Christmas break, deciding to work right through it before being let out a little earlier than usual for the summer

"I feel like spoiling the shit outta my babies," Renjun suddenly said one evening as he lay sandwiched between the other two, Jaemin kissing his hand softly every now and then and Jeno's face buried in his orange hair.

They were cold but they didn't dare move from under their giant blanket they had found tucked away in a storage room.

Very fucking cold one might add.

One of them, most definitely Jaemin, had begged to go on the roof and lay there. In the damn snow like a caribou. And of course, they caved the moment Jaemin began to basically purr against them and run his hands up their arms.

How could they even think of saying no?

And now Renjun felt like going out.

In the snow.

"What? Language," Jaemin scolded, still not very used to his boyfriends swearing like bloody sailors.

He had always heard them swear but that was before they were dating but now, Jaemin was surrounded by them on a daily basis.

"Sorry? Anyways, I wanna take you guys to a place nearby. I've been there more than several times before and it's real nice."

Jeno simply hummed in agreement, unmoving as Jaemin wondered if it'd be okay to go. Especially in that weather.

"I'll go only if you promise to help me with my art project," Jaemin proposed. He hated art.

"Deal."

And that's how they found themselves walking down a snowy path that evening, Jeno hardly struggling to keep himself upright as his boyfriends clung to each other for dear life.

The walk was supposed to take ten minutes, fifteen at most due to the snow, and they weren’t even half way.

"One of you babys jump on my back," Jeno finally sighed, his breath showing clearly. "And one of you hold my hand. We'll be there by nightfall if we continue at this pace."

"It's my turn to piggy back ride!" Jaemin giggled, stumbling like a baby deer to get to Jeno first. "Junnie, you hold his hand."

Renjun agreed, neither of the other two knew where they were going which meant holding Jeno's hand was both an excuse and a guide to get close. Come on, he loved his boyfriend’s hands.

It was faster but still slow and by the time they arrived at their destination, Jeno was about to drop. Like literally.

Jaemin hadn't been able to stop smothering his affection, which made him weak, and Renjun simply couldn't walk. But thankfully, they made it within half an hour instead of until nightfall.

"Renjun!" Ten gushed as he walked through the door. "I haven't seen you in a while! I assume these are the friends."

And the way he said 'friends' made Renjun flame, remembering he had honestly been in there crying several days prior as well as the first time he had been there.

"That'd be correct. This one is the 'crush' and this one is the 'ex-potential crush'," Renjun explained, pointing to Jeno and Jaemin respectively. "But as I mentioned before, shit happened and now they're both boyfriend."

The two stood awkwardly at the entrance, Jaemin sliding off Jeno's back like a slug as Renjun continued conversing as if he hadn't just dragged them there.

Jeno and Jaemin found themselves a seat, as Renjun and Ten chattered away about artsy things, apparently, until Renjun finally remembered they were there to get drinks.

"The strongest black coffee and two semi-sweet whatever you recommend," Renjun instructed as he searched for the stolen card. But as he searched, he realized that he hadn’t brought it and felt his mind panic at that.

Jeno seemed to sense his panic and got up to check, Jaemin simply staring dreamily at them.

"What's wrong?"

"Fucking forgot my damn card," Renjun replied in disbelief. "I'll either have to run back or I'll cancel the drik."

"Or I can do the spoiling," Jeno suggested, pulling out his own card.

"No, I was-"

A hard but quick kiss was pressed against Renjun's mouth, effectively silencing him as Jeno paid.

It was after that that things started taking a turn in their relationship.

A very interesting turn to be exact.
