Thalia POV
Artemis left to go to that Olympian thing a while ago, we're starting to get worried. No hearing, no matter how dangerous the demigod, has taken this long.
"THALIA SHE'S BACK!" A younger Hunter screamed. I loosed one last arrow then sprinted through the camp, not even bothering to collect my arrows.
"Milady?" I stopped outside her tent.
"Come in." Artemis croaked. She's never sounded this bad before.
"Milady, what happened?" I entered her tent.
Artemis sat on her cot, moving as little as possible and wincing when she did. Her hair was slightly damp and the air around her smelled slightly like something was burning.
"It..." She coughed. "It was at the hearing...two demigods were charged with the murder of two other demigods for kissing and/or molesting their girlfriends. Zeus also determined that the two demigods boys were too powerful for the gods to keep around." I started to get a sinking feeling in my stomach.
"Artemis, are you saying what I think you're saying?"
She nodded sadly. "Percy and Jason tried to kill us. As of now they are at large and have an execution sentence set for if they're ever found."
I reeled.
"Thalia. Thalia, sit down." Artemis' voice had some of it's commanding aura back to it. I sat, staring off into space.
"Why...Percy's always been a compassionate person. So has Jason to an extent. They'd never kill another demigod that was on their side. It's not in their nature. It's not possible." My mind was firmly in denial now.
Artemis sighed. "They are males. Their natures change more than the tides of the sea. The Hunt have been tasked with helping you and Nico di Angelo in their capture and execution. You two are the only two powerful enough to go up against the two of them, and while I do not trust the spawn of Hades, he's our only chance."
I nodded sharply and walked out of the tent. Grabbing an immortal girl named Marielle from the 1920s, I went to the nearest stream.
"Mari, I need to Iris Message my cousin." The German girl nodded and flicked her hand. She wasn't nearly as powerful as Percy, since she was only the daughter of an Naiad. She was powerful enough to make a mist though.
"O Iris, Goddess of the rainbow, show me Nico di Angelo, wherever he is right now."
Nico was at Camp, talking to Chiron, Annabeth and Piper.
"You can't be serious! They really did that? I didn't think either of them were capable of destruction like that."
I made a small noise of sadness. "Obviously they are." The four turned to look at me.
"Are you guys okay?" I asked Annabeth and Piper. Both were looking a little worse for the wear.
"We're shaken up and bruised pretty badly, but no bones were broken and the only bleeding was internal." Piper said, going for a cheerful attitude.
"I'm sorry my brother went crazy, Pipes. We'll find him."
"What scares me the most is that they didn't hesitate to hurt the girls they 'protected' by killing when they ran." Nico commented.
"That is scary. Terrifying actually."
"Yeah, I-" Nico suddenly went pale, staring at something behind me.
"What?"
"Thals, there's someone behind you."
"Oh yeah, that's Mari. She's helping keep the Iris message up." Now Piper and Annabeth were looking rather frightened as well.
"That's definitely not Mari..." Chiron said quietly.
My eyes widened slightly. "There's no dark haired girl behind me?" Three head shakes. No. "Then who's holding up the Iris Message...oh gods." My heart began to thump in my chest, and I swallowed nervously.
"Thals, run." Nico said seriously. Then the message cut and a wall of water formed in it's place. I turned slowly.
Mari lay on the ground, bleeding from a hole in her chest. Standing next to her, smiling sadistically and spinning a bloody spear in his hand, was my little brother. Percy stood next to him, also grinning evilly.
"Hello, Thalia."
[DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN! mwahahahahahahaha what will happen? You'll just have to wait and find out, won't you.]
