Third Person POV

Nico's shadow travelling abilities were slightly skewed from the pain he was in. He landed on his back and immediately yelled in pain.

"What the Hades! Wha-oh my gods, Nico!" A semi-familiar voice cried out.

"G-et...me...Will." He grunted out through clenched teeth, realizing he had landed in the Hephaestus cabin.

Broken inventions littered the room. Ever since Leo died, the Hephaestus campers had lost what Percy had often called their 'fixer-upper mojo' and everything they made seemed to break.

Never mind that Nico had told them dozens of times that Leo's soul was not in the Underworld, although it seemed that it had been for a short period.

"Jackie, go get Solace and tell him we've got a severely injured camper. What the Hades happened, Nico?"

"Oh my gods, Nyssa look at his leg!" A boy yelled.

Nico's entire leg had a solid inch of ice encasing it. Nyssa began to swear profusely in Greek, grabbing the son of Hades by the shoulders as he clutched at his thigh.

"Pansy, Darren, grab his uninjured leg and help him get the iced one crossed over it. Try not to touch it for too long, we don't know what it is."

The two kids called rushed forward to do as their older half sister said. Once Darren had helped Pansy get ahold of the boy's legs without touching the cold, icy ankle, he moved up to grab Nico's torso carefully.

The ice had wrapped around his waist and was slowly inching down his other leg. It seemed to stop at the waistband of his jeans for the moment, but everyone seemed to know that it was only a matter of time before, like a glacier, the ice began to move again.

"Jordan, open the door." Nyssa snapped. Nico's breath was coming in slightly labored gasps. It was obvious that he was in an intense amount of pain.

A small part of his mind commented that it was a good thing that children of Hephaestus were so strong, otherwise there would probably be more people carrying him.

The small gaggle of campers carrying their injured comrade met Will halfway to the infirmary.

"Jackie told me-Nico!" The son of Apollo looked terrified when he saw his barely conscious friend in the other camper's arms.

"The ice is gonna hit my hand!" Pansy yelped, inching her fingers away from the reaching tendrils.

"Drop his legs and drag them. You don't know what it will do if it touches you." Will was immediately in doctor mode. "Let's get him to the infirmary."

The human stretcher re-adusted, muttering apologies when Nico's feet hit the ground and he let out a pained, but strangled yelp.

"The ice on his waist is moving!" Darren shouted as he shifted up to Nico's left shoulder.

"Nico, what happened?" Will asked, walking next to the group.

"Percy...fight....ice dagger..." The paler than usual boy gasped out. "He's...not-something....something's wrong....with him..." Nico's head lolled forward suddenly.

"No Styx, Sherlock." Will muttered, pressing two finger's to his friend's neck. "He's just unconscious for now. Let's move."

They were mere feet from the infirmary when alarms went off through the building.

"Di Immortales!" Will yelled, sprinting forward.

"Will, what's wrong?" Nyssa called after him.

Will didn't answer. He was already in his natural habitat, rushing around and barking orders.

"Her pancreas is failing. It must have been punctured." A girl called as she read from a bank of information.

"Freddie, get on that. Fix it, we are not losing her. You're good with those organs anyway."

"Her blood pressure is spiking, Will!"

"What in Tartarus?! Why? Someone figure out why that's happening. Lauren, that's you."

"She's bleeding through the bandages! She must have had a nightmare!" A teen yelled, his light brown hair pulled into a ponytail.

"Re-bandage her, Logan!"

"Bring Nico over here." A redhead girl said, gesturing to an empty bed a few down from the demigod they were frantically working on.

"We don't have enough trained campers!" Will shouted, running his hands through his hair in frustration. "I don't know what will happen if Nico freezes over fully, but I know for sure it won't be good. We could lose them both for all I know!"

"Will, you haven't lost a camper in almost a year." The redhead commented as she inspected the ice creeping towards Nico's chest. She had one hand holding her auburn curls back so they didn't drape over the unconscious son of Hades' lower stomach. Straightening, she deftly looped the waistlength locks into a loose bun that ended up hanging to the small bump at the base of her neck.

"This is different, Emmy. I have no clue what's happening with Nico but I don't want to leave her to her own devices."

"Who?" Nyssa asked from where she was watching by the door.

Will looked at her, his eyes showing fatigue.

"Annabeth."

[A/N Yay, finally an update! Thank you to @demigodgrounder for giving me an idea on what to do for this!]
