Percy POV
I could feel Thalia's fear rolling off of her. Her electric blue eyes flicked from Jason's bloody spear to the stupid girl on the ground who had tried to stop us.
"What, no hello, little sister?" Jason said mockingly. Despite the situation she was in, Thalia's eyes flashed.
"I am NOT your little sister!"
"Says the girl who is immortally sixteen. Thanks for pushing that prophecy onto me, by the way." I said sarcastically.
"What the Hades is wrong with you two? You'd never do anything like this..." Again, Thalia glanced at the dead Hunter at Jason's feet.
"As your wonderful moon goddess put it, people change." The Roman snapped.
"Don't you DARE insult Artemis." Thalia growled.
"Hey Thals, do us a favor and shut up." I said calmly.
"Don't tell me what to do Percy."
"You aren't doing yourself any favors." Jason pointed out.
"And what would me begging for my life do? Absolutely nothing, right?" We simply smirked at her. "Didn't think so." She muttered.
"So, Thalia, how would you like to die?" I sneered.
"How about I don't." Lightning slammed into me, knocking me off my feet and forcing me to drop the water shield. Thalia leapt the creek swiftly and took off.
She made it 6 feet before an electricity charged spear slammed into her back.
"Nice shot, Jason."
"Thanks, man." He helped me up and we leapt the stream, walking up to our fallen target. Jason took hold of the spear and twisted it viciously.
Thalia let out a earsplitting scream.
"W-why?" She whispered, her voice full of pain.
I leaned down next to her head. "Because we've had it, Thals. We came to offer you a chance to work with us, but obviously that won't happen now. Goodbye."
My cousin let out another breathy scream of agony as Jason pulled his spear out. We heard girls shouting and looked at each other.
"Come on." Jason dashed into the woods. I followed, using water and clever ruses to throw off whoever followed us.

Jenna POVI ran as fast as I could, hearing Thalia's scream echoing through the forest.
Footfalls pounded all around me as my sisters sprinted as well, also headed towards our Lieutenant's shrieks of pain. Artemis herself kept pace with me at the head of the pack.
We reached the clearing and stared at the sight in front of us.
Mari lay closest to me, a hole in her chest. Being a daughter of Apollo, I knew right away it was a helpless cause. She was long dead.
"Thalia..." Artemis whispered.
I followed her gaze and leapt over the creek.
Thalia struggled for breath, on her back in the dirt. A smaller hole was in her chest, but the amount of blood soaking into the grass told me the wound had been inflicted from the back.
"Jenna, Abbey, can you heal her?" Artemis asked tearfully.
My half sister and I leapt into action. "Thalia, it's going to hurt, but I need to see the wound in your back." Abbey said softly, brushing her blonde hair out of her eyes. I handed her a ponytail, which she took silently.
Thalia gave a weak laugh. "You can't heal me, Abbs. Jason's spear went through my right lung." Her voice was surprisingly clear, but she began to cough and spit up blood. She flashed a ghost of a smile when she stopped.
"Just get the bastards for me, okay?" Thalia Grace's crazy-bright electric blue eyes dimmed and her jaw slowly fell slack.
We kneeled, respecting our fallen sister. Thalia had taken all of us in, one way or another. I watched with tears in my eyes as her 'Death to Barbie' shirt slowly soaked up her blood.
"NO!" Artemis screamed, dropping to her knees next to the fallen daughter of Zeus.
She brushed Thalia's bangs out of her eyes then rose abruptly, her eyes alight with a dangerous fire.
"JASON! PERCY!" She screamed furiously at the sky.
It was impossible, but I could have sworn I heard faint laughter echoing back to us.
[A/N as I'm sure you can all tell by now, this is the story where I kill EVERYONE. And I do mean that. Sorry for the tears, but now I know how Riordan or Rowling or any of those authors feel after publishing a book.]
