Third Person POV
"Alright, Nyssa, someone's gotta tell me. Why are they all acting like they're walking on eggshells around me and Pipes? And where's the others from the Seven?" Leo asked.
He and his half sister were sitting on the beach, watching the waves, or lack thereof. Leo noticed that Poseidon's realm had taken a rather sickly tinge, and it tugged at his thoughts. He hadn't seen Percy yet.
"Let's start from the beginning." Nyssa sat up and faced him. "So a few days ago, maybe two weeks or a little more, Jason and Percy disappeared. We didn't know what was going on, but Piper and Annabeth seemed-"
"Did Hera swipe them again? Don't tell me, there's a secret camp for Egyptian demigods or something." Leo said sarcastically.
"Shut up and listen. This is hard to tell." Nyssa didn't laugh at his joke, which was very rare.
"Sorry."
"Okay, so Percy and Jason disappeared. Piper and Annabeth were pissed, and we all knew why, I mean, we all heard the announcement-"
"What announcement?"
Nyssa glared at him, but answered his question. "Zeus called Jason and Percy in for a trial. They were accused and found guilty of killing two demigods."
"WHAT?! But it's Percy and Jason! They wouldn't do that!"
"Leo, they admitted to it. Annabeth and Piper heard them, so did the gods. They tried to kill all the gods and their girlfriends when the gods threatened to kill them."
Leo looked horrified. "No. No, that can't be."
"Let me keep going. Jason and Percy ran, and Thalia and Nico were tasked with apprehending and if necessary, killing them. Not even hours later, we were told that Thalia and another Hunter were dead, killed by Jason. The two of them also killed two demigods, Emily and Sam Daneiro, making the Olympians watch. After that, it became full out war. Then later that day, Nico found Jason in the woods. He nearly killed him, I assume, but there must have been something important, because he brought Jason to our counselor meeting."
Leo's tanned skin looked abnormally pale. "They didn't kill him at the meeting, did they?"
"No. Jason swore a sort of fealty to Nico, promising to help him take down Percy. Then we found Hazel at the border. She was dead and there was a message for Jason and Nico, telling them they were next. Nico was mourning, just kneeling next to her, and suddenly Percy's voice was echoing around camp. He was taunting Nico, trying to draw him out, most likely. Travis asked where he was and moments later, he was dead. There was a dagger made of ice in his heart. Annabeth was looking for him and brought him out with her knife to his neck."
Leo frowned. "Her knife? But didn't she lose-"
"That's what you're worrying about? Hades went down and got it for her, as she acidly informed Percy. There was some dialogue, Annabeth and Percy arguing about Percy's mental state. Then he stabbed her too and dissolved into a cloud of water, disappearing. We rushed Annabeth to the infirmary and Piper started yelling at Jason about how his apologies would never be enough. The message was pretty clear. She never wanted to speak to him again."
"I really missed a lot..." Leo muttered.
"Oh, I'm only about halfway through." Nyssa sighed. "Annabeth's condition was getting bad, Nico went to get moonlace. Using it, she stabilized for the night and we went to sleep. The next morning, Piper's screams woke everyone up."
"What did Jason do to her?" Leo asked, anger flashing in his eyes.
"Not to her. Just what he did. He killed himself."
"Oh gods, no."
"Yeah. She was devastated. Nico left, he looked like he was going to kill someone. He went to find Percy and when he appeared in our cabin about two hours later, he had been stabbed in the leg with one of those stupid ice daggers. He was slowly freezing solid."
"How'd Percy figure out how to do that?"
"Not a clue. On our way to the infirmary, alarms began to go off. Annabeth's condition took a nosedive and ended the only way bad situations do."
"She's gone?" Leo's eyes were full of tears. "They're all gone?"
"Not Frank, to our knowledge, and Percy."
"He doesn't count." The son of Hephaestus snarled.
Nyssa gave him a look. "Anyways, and I know this is hard for you, Leo, a few days later, Percy showed up again. Hearing how he spoke, we were rather confused. The wording he used made it seem like who was talking and Percy himself were separate entities. Percy disappeared and we heard yelling in the forest. Nico ran to check it out, and when we reached where they had been, no one was there. Eventually Clarisse found Percy in the Big House and called the campers. Chiron told us to leave, and a few minutes later, Percy came to the dining pavilion. He was tied up and he told us what happened, swearing on the Styx that everything was true."
"So he confessed to everything?"
"No." Nyssa explained what Percy had told them.
"Whoa. It's like eidolon 2.0." Leo said.
"Yes, I guess so..." Nyssa had no clue what he was talking about. "After he finished talking, you showed and I'm pretty sure he went to the Big House. He seems to be taking every precaution to keep us from being nervous around him."
"From the sound of it, he's going to have a tough time....It'd be better if Annabeth or Jason was..." Leo's eyes widened. "Jason. Piper."
He leapt to his feet and ran in the direction of his friend's cabin.
[A/N filler chapter cause I need to spread out what happens in this story a bit]
