"Sanu what happened and why did Sid leave abruptly? and why are you crying? and what is in this photo?" Shanaya bombarded Sana with these questions while Sana gave her a sad smile.

"Shanaya....Sid....Sid he is my Siddy....my childhood friend" Sana said crying

Sid's pov

"Siddy what are you doing here?" Said the small girl leaning on the wall.

"I am washing my clothes" said the little boy concentrating on his work.

"But why are you doing it? We are small and small children doesn't do these work. Ask your mother she will help you and come with me to play" She said again with pout on her face.

"No...mumma will not help me" he said with a said smile while the little girl understood his meaning. His parents are not good people. She hates his father beacuse he beats him she has many times asked him to come to live with her in her house but he never agreed.

"Okay so let me help you" she said coming forward

"No you don't come else your clothes will get wet"
He said but she ignored.

She sat beside him and started helping him hi cleaning his clothes and after some time they completed their work when girl asked

"Siddy have you eaten food?"
He didn't replied and his silence gave her answer

"Let's go mumma has made very tasty lunch let's eat"
She said while Sid's eyes shined

"Okay Sanu let's go" saying so they went to her home hand in hand

Then also only you were the one who cared for me and now also you are the one.

The moment I saw you in that crowd I know you were my Sanu, the same innocent eyes, same button nose everything is same but you have more beautiful now.

But I am sorry Sanu I can't tell you anything. I am helpless. If I will tell you that I recognised you. You will ask so many questions and I won't have reply to any of them. I am sorry for leaving you like this when you need me the most but I can't let you know the truth.

Thinking this I came out of the lift and get on my bike.

On the other hand
Sana was sitting with Shanaya and telling her everything about their childhood

"He was my best friend Shanaya. We used to spend hours together playing but his parents, they were not nice. His father used to beat him and his mother also didn't cared about him. He used to have his food at our home as his mother never bothered to cook for.him." she said when a thought striked her
"Now I understand why he always used to get instgated by just a mere mention of his parents"

"If you both were friends then how did you two lost contacts" Shanaya asked

"His family shifted to another city. I and my parents tried very hard to convince Sid to stay with us but he didn't agreed because he loved his parents. We cried for hours before parting ways and then he disappeared from my life"

"You never told me about him before"  asked Shanaya

"Because I didn't want to discuss about it with anyone. I secured all his memories in my heart but I always used to feel a hole in my life. But after meeting Sid here after many years I started feeling complete. Maybe this is the reason I felt so connected with him. My heart had recognised him before me"

"Does he remembers you too" Shanaya asked

"Ofcourse....that's why he still has this photo and this friendship band" she said showing her the band and photo.

"This friendship was given by me to him. Even then he didn't had any friends only I was his friend and this photo is from your out family trip. We took him with us. We were very happy that day." Sana said reminiscing that day.

"If he remembers you than why did he reacted that way? Why did he left?"

"I don't know....I really don't maybe he is hiding something. Maybe something happened with him in between this years that he doesn't want to share that with anyone. I don't know where are his parents. Did he left them? But no he loved them so much he would have never left them. I think they abandoned him" Sana said wiping her tears.

"Sanu control yourself. Let him come then you can confront him" Shanaya said taking her in her arms.

I has been already night but Sid Still hasn't returned home. Sana has tried to call him many times but his phone was switched off.

On the other hand
Sid was roaming aimlessly on the streets. He knew Sana must be waiting for him but he doesn't have guts to face her. After lot of hesitation he went back to his home and as expected Sana was waiting for him.

"Sid" Sana got and immediately hugged him but he remained freeze.

"Why did you left so abruptly? Where were you? And Why were you not picking my calls? I was so worried...I want to talk to you about...." Sana tried to say but Sid interupped

"shehnaaz....if you want to me behave normally and be your friend then we will not talk about this topic" Sid said pointing towards the photo.

"But Sid.."

"Choice is yours if you choose to ignore then stay here I will make dinner for us and If you want to continue your investigation then you can leave" He said not meeting her gaze.

"It's better to stay quiet for now then to insist him to talk because I know if I will compel him then he will again shut himself off from me which I can't let happen. I should gain his trust once again so that he himself tells everything to me"

Thinking this Sana looked at him "I choose the former one... I won't talk to you about this" she said in a whispering tone and hugged him again making Sid sigh and he hugged her back

" I am sorry Sanu... Sorry for hurting you... But I am not ready ..... Not ready to reveal everything yet. I know you will not judge me but I am scared.... Very scared.... But I missed you... I missed you so much"  thinking this he hugged her more tightly and kissed his hairs.

Sorry for updating late and giving short update but my exams are coming and my days are very hectic.
