Sana's pov
I was lying on my bed thinking about Sid when I felt a continuous nudge on my shoulder. I frowned and looked up to see Shanaya looking at me with stupid grin on her face.

"So? How was it?" Shanaya asked me
"What?" I said as I didn't understand her.
“don’t try to act innocent Sanu…. I mean you both were alone in the forest and the weather was romantic too so….. what happened?” Shanaya said making me remember all the events again but I can’t tell her the truth.

“forgot that. You tell me what’s brewing between you and Kartik? I saw him pecking your forehead” I asked to divert her attention and I she instantly blushed making me raise my eyebrow in question

“it’s nothing…. He is nice and he said that he likes me” She said making my eyes widen

“really…. He is so fast…. And why didn’t you told me before” I squeaked in happiness  “aww….my bestie found someone…. I am so happy for you”  I was so excited after listening some news as this is the first time Shanaya has shown interest in somebody
“calm down babes calm down….. don’t overthink… we have just met yesterday and I don’t even know anything about him maybe he is just randomly flirting with me”
“Really? So you are saying that you don’t feel anything about him?” I asked her she was about to say when her phone ringed before she could pick it and hurriedly picked it from side table
“it’s Kartik calling….you just met him yesterday and you guys even exchanged your number and now he is calling you at this hour. Not bad good going” I said to tease her and her already red face started heating up but she snatched the phone from me and answered the call
“hello” she said in a shy way making me roll my eyes as she was behaving like a shy arranged bride but soon her smile turned into a frown
“what happened?” she said in a serious tone
“okay” saying so she put the call on speaker making me frown before I could ask anything I heard Kartik’s voice

“Sana…. Sid… I think he is having a nightmare… he is sweating in sleep and he is continuously saying  ‘don’t leave me Shehnaaz I am not bad”  Kartik said from other side making my heartbeat stop. I immediately got up from my bed and ran towards the door. Sid’s room was next to mine so it was not difficult for me to reach him.
I knocked the door and Kartik opened it and my eyes fell on my Sid who was turning and tossing in sleep
“Sid” I said as I went towards him and held his hand while Kartik went out of the room.

“don’t leave me Shehnaaz” Sid said in a desperate tone making my heart break into million pieces as his condition was giving me pain.

“Sid… open your eyes… I am not leaving I am here” I said cupping his face and kissed his forehead and I could his muscles relaxing so I kissed his cheek
“Shehnaaz” he whispered
“yes Sid I am here…. Open your eyes” I said and this time i kissed his eyes which made him open his eyes slowly 
As soon his eyes feel on me a tear escaped from his eyes and he hugged me immediately
“please tell me this real…. I am not dreaming you are really in my arms” he said squeezing me in his arms.
“yes… I am… I am here..what happen?” I asked kissing his forehead once again he looked up and me “I saw a bad dream”
“Really?...what did you saw?” I asked caressing his hairs
He took me in his arms “I saw that you are left me… you said that I am a bad person and you are leaving me” he said and I really felt bad for my Sid. He is too innocent and scared like a child. He has grown up but still he is a kid child who is scared of his father’s death and is craving for love.
“it was just a dream Sid… I am never gonna leave you promise…and you are definitely not bad. You are the best” I said
“I know but I am scared…. After so long I have got you. After so long someone has shown love and care towards me. After so long I am feeling peaceful in life and after so long I feel like living this life so now I am scared to loose it”  he said making me kiss his nose  “don’t be scared I am with you”
He smiled at me and held my hands “thanks for coming here…. But how did you get to know about me?” Sid asked

“Kartik called me”  I said and suddenly I remembered that Shanaya and Kartik must be waiting for us outside but I can’t leave Sid like this and I can’t even stay with him because he is sharing room with Kartik
“Kartik…. He saw me in this condition. What must be he thinking?” Sid said with a worried face
“don’t over think now….he must be thinking that you are missing me that’s it”
“he must be waiting outside you should… you should go now… he must be tired and I disturbed his sleep” Sid said looking away I know he doesn’t want be to leave because although he is asking me to go but he has tightened his hold on my hand.
“hmmm they must be waiting outside but I know you don’t want me to leave so I have an idea… we will see each other through video call” I suggested with a bright smile and in my mind I patted myself for my brilliant idea but I think Sid didn’t liked my idea as I saw him frowning
“video call…. I have never done that” he said
“aww he is so precious I want to kiss his nose again”
“it’s okay If you have not done it done it before you can do it today and it will be fun”  I said

“what will be fun?” I heard and turned back to see that Shanaya has already barged into the room

“I am sorry but you guys were taking so long so I had to barge in” she said and sat on the bed on the other side

“So Sid…” she said looking at Sid with evil smile making him frown at her

“so what had happened in the forest that you don’t stay a second with Sanu….” She said making my eyes widen ‘this girl’ I tell you has no filter.
“Shanaya” I said glaring at her while she just shrugged. I looked at Sid who rolled his eyes making me relax as he didn’t took her words seriously
“I your co chie co moments are done so can we leave I am sleepy and so does Kartik” Shanaya said yawing
“you are so concerned about Kartik? Don’t you?” I asked and I could see the heat rushing through her cheeks but she bite her lips to control her blush and got up abruptly “lets go now” saying so she left the room.
I looked towards Sid who blinked his eyes in assurance “I will call you”  I said and kissing his forehead I got up to leave.
Leaving the room I saw Shanaya and Kartik talking Kartik was saying something while Shanaya was blushing like a mad person.
I cleared my throat to gain their attention “let’s go…. Good night Kartik” I said while he smiled “good night Sana….good night Shanaya” he said in a extra sweet voice to Shanaya who blushed and nodded.

We got inside her room and I immediately get inside the blanket completely and texted Sid that I am video calling him but he should keep his phone on mute as Shanaya is here too. He received the message so I video called him while he accepted immediately. I waved at him and smiled while he smiled too. I indicated him to close his eyes but he didn’t and he kept staring at me. So we kept looking at each other for some time but soon my eyes started feeling heavy and I no time I slipped into the oblivion with one plan revolving in my mind.
