“sid…Sidharth…”  Sid came to his senses hearing Sukh ji who was waving a palm in front of him.

“sorry…what were you saying I didn’t catch that” said Sid with an apologetic smile.

“it’s okay my son… I was saying that I want to have a talk with you” he said

“yes uncle please tell what is it?” Sid asked nervously.

“let’s sit here” Sukh ji pointing towards a bench in the park. Sid nodded and they both sat on the bench.

“so Sid, as I said that we all have missed you when you were not here so now I don’t want you to go away from us” he said while Sid was touched hearing him  as he was feeling wanted now.

“I too don’t want to stay away from you all uncle… I will be touch and will be visiting you all in holidays” Sid replied

“but I want to keep you with us permanently” Sukh ji said making Sid confused.

“Sid, I want you to join my company after completing your studies” Sukh ji said while Sid was taken aback.

“uncle I… I respect you and I appreciate that you want to help me but uncle I want to grow on my own with my own hard work,so I am sorry but I can’t accept your offer.” Sid declined politely which made Sukh ji smile.

“I know Sid you will say that but believe me that I am not offering you a job I want to help you or I pity you I am offering you job on the basis of your capabilities, your experience, you are such a talented child and you will be asset for my company Sid please don’t decline my offer. If you need time then you can take and decide. I will not pressurize you but yes if you will accept this offer we all will be very happy” Sukh ji said while Sid just nodded as he doesn’t know what to reply.

“so what’s the problem in accepting this offer. This is great we all will together, I was so tensed that How will stay away from you after completing my graduation but now Papa has a solution to this problem too. Please Sid accept this offer” Sana said leaning on Sid’s arm who was standing near the window of Sana’s room. After coming back from a walk he met Sana and told her about the offer.

“Shehnaaz…. I am confused… uncle is helping me because he feels bad for me, maybe he is being sympathetic….I..” Sid was interrupted as Sana placed her finger on his lips
“Shhh… you think too much” Sana said with an angry glare
“Papa is offering you a job because of your calibre and capabilities and even if you know that you deserve this job so stop thinking this much and please accept the offer” Sana said wrapping her arms around his neck while he thought for a second before nodding making Sana squeal in happiness.

“thankyou thankyou…. I love you so much” Sana said hugging him while Sid just smiled.

“Take care, both of you” Said Sukh ji

“Now I don’t have to take stress about my Daughter. Sid is here and he will take good care of my stupid daughter” Pammi ji said making Sana pout.
Sid and Sana were returning to Mumbai. Pammi ji got emotional but not for Sana but for Sid, she even started crying but sid coaxed her and promised her he will be in touch with her through calls and they will come back soon. Sana was happy seeing this but she fake her anger showing that she upset that her mother doesn’t love her anymore which got her many chocolates and ice-creams.

“you don’t have to  care about Sana but about Sid because our daughter can make any sane person insane” Sukh ji said to tease Sana while she stomped her feet.

“not fair… you guys now don’t love me anymore…. You only love your son…I will leave and then will never come back no matter how much you all will try to coax me” Sana said

“Shehnaaz” the other three said in unison

“are you mad? Why don’t you think before speaking? How many times do I have to tell you not to utter all this nonsense” pammi Ji said in a serious tone.

“off hooo mumma  why do you emotional on every little thing I was just kidding where would I go leaving you guys” Sana said trying to lighten up the mood and hugged her mom.

Sid too hugged him while pammi ji whispered in his ears “please take care of my daughter” making Sid nod his head.

“so we are leaving today… I will really miss our family time but I am missing Saniket uncle too and his special kheer. Shanaya will come next week, till then I am going to hijack your place” Sana started ranting as soon as they got into the taxi but Sid had a stoic face expression.

“hey… what’s with that face?” Sana asked seeing Sid’s expression.

“what face?” Sid shrugged.

“why are you behaving like this? You were perfectly fine a few minutes ago now what happened?” Sana asked

“You should think before speaking?” Sid replied.

Sana frowned listening to him but then realized the reason for his behaviour
“I am sorry Sid… I have said that unintentionally” Sana said placing her chin on his arm but Sid didn’t replied.

“please Sid…. Don’t be angry with me… please I am sorry, I promise I will always think before speaking” Sana said with misty eyes making Sid melt instantly.
“hey don’t cry please… I was just worried” Sid replied wiping her tears and kissed her forehead while Sana rested her head on his shoulder.
Sana eyes fell on the chaat shop when the taxi stopped in red light.

“Sid I want to eat chat” Sana said

“sweetheart we will have in Mumbai” Sid replied

“no  please you will not get this type of chaat in Mumbai please Sid please I really want to eat it” Sana requested making Sid sigh.

“okay I will bring it for you. You stay inside” Sid said making Sana nod. Asking the driver to park the car at side Sid left to take chaat while Sana was looking outside from the window when her eyes fell on a kid who was recklessly crossing the road. Shaking her head she got out of the car to help him.
She was moving towards the kid when a fast moving truck approached in her direction and…….
