chapter 23

I'm finished getting ready for set. "Final week :(" is what's written on my calendar. Its the final scenes and a touch up on the Robin scene so Miguel's back. Yay.

We pick him up as a surprise and I record him walking to the car. "MIGUEL CAZAREZ MORA GET YOUR ASS IN THE CAR WERE FILMING OUR SCENE TODAY!" I shout at him. He does a spin towards the car and gets in. "We made sure they didn't take your sticker off your trailer until after today." He puts a hand to him heart. "This is why you guys are the best."

We get on set and Mason's waiting for the three of us with Becca. "Miguel your back!" Becca hugs him then he turns to Mason. "M&M's have returned!" They do this weird handshake they made up and we head to costume and makeup.

"Wellcome back Miguel! We need you over here and just walk in on cue." Scott tells him and he nods, he's covered in blood and fake cuts. "Oh my god it looks so real." I say and he chuckles. "It's really cool honestly."

"Places, and ACTION!"

In scene

Lillian is lead on the mattress while Finney is banging againt the meat freezer. "Finney there's no point. We're gonna die in here." She says and tears stream out of her eyes. "Don't say that Lils, we're gonna do it!" He tries to encourage her but fails. "There's no use I'm gonna die!" Just then the phone rings. Finney picks up the phone and Lillian doesn't move off the mattress.

"Hey Finn, what's happenin'?" The girl lifts her head as she hears the voice of her dear friend vaguely. "Robin?" Both the teens start crying as they hear his voice, knowing what it means. Robin Arellano is dead.

"Hey buddy." They talk for a while and Lillian can't process another person she loves is dead. She is snapped out of her thoughts by Finney handing her the phone. "He wants to speak to you Lils."

She stand up and gets the phone and places it to her ear. "R-Robin?" She sniffles and she hears his familiar chuckle. "Hey Lill, please don't cry." It's to late, the girl is sobbing. "I-I miss you so much, we miss you so much."
"I know, I know, but you've gotta be strong."

"B-but how? You were the strongest of the three of us and you didn't make it." The ghost boy is standing in the corner, looking at the girl he loved so dearly. "You can, if I know anything Lillian Jenson, you and Finney are gonna make it. You have eachother, fuck you both love eachother and that's enough." She tries to steady her own breath and Robin walks closer, tapping her on the shoulder, she turns around and sees him bruised, bloody and bite marks from what looks like a dog.

"R-robin, FINNEY LOOK ITS ROBIN!" The boy stands up and sees his best friend. The three of them embrace. "You two can do it. Just pay attention to me, when that hijo de puta gets here, Finney you raise the phone, take a fast step back, step forward, step back and swing." He demonstrates the them. Finney copy's the motions and pretty soon he gets the hang of it.

"Now Lill, I want you to make a trap with that hole. That way, he falls in he's defenseless." The girl does as he says and makes a pretty good trap. "Are you gonna come with us after we get out of here?" The girl says hopeful, surely he would if they could see and interact with him. The ghost looks to the floor and shakes his head. It's like finding out he's dead all over again. Lillian is back in tears and Finney has to hold her up or she'd fall to the ground. "I'll always be with you, you'll just not hear or see me." He takes the girl from Finney.

While she's sobbing in his arms Robin mouths something to Finney. "Tell her how you feel, just do it when you get out." He nods his head as tears start forming in his eyes too. "Lill, look at me." Robin says and she looks up at him. "I'm going to tell you something that I wanted to when I was alive. I was in love with you for so long. So long. But I knew you and Finney were practically soul mates. I just wanted you to know before I'm gone." Her head was rushing, she didn't know what to do. So instead of saying anything she just cried even more.
