chapter 4

I wake up to a weird feeling. Two arms wrapped around my waist. Me and Mason did end up sleeping in the same bed, but I slept on the right, him on the left.

I remember waking up at like 4am and cuddling up to something, but I thought it was one of my pillows since I was only half awake. My eyes widen but I minimalise movement as to not wake him up.

His mouth is slightly agape and his hair is kinda in his face. I move it gently with my hand. His mouth closes and I swiftly move my hand away. His eyes flutter open and I pretend to be asleep.

"You're so cute." He whispers placing a gentle kiss on my forehead. Good thing I'm an actress because inside I'm screaming. He places a hand on my cheek, using his thumb to gentle caress my face.

I think it's time I open my eyes. My eyes open slowly and he does the opposite of what I did. He keeps his hand there and places another kiss on my forehead. "Done pretending to be asleep?" He asks analysing my face. His morning voice is groggy and deeper than usual.

"How'd you know?" His thumb stops caressing my cheek and smiles slightly. "I just knew." I snuggle closer. "How are we this close? We've known eachother for like 2 weeks and only met yesterday." I ask against his chest.

He lifts my head to I'm looking at his face. "I dunno, but letting you know, I think you're really pretty and I want to get to know you so much more." I smile and wrap my arms around his neck. "Me too, you're really cute and I'm so so so glad that my first kiss is going to be you, even if it's for a film I'm really glad it's you." He pulls a shocked face. I think I may have went a bit over the top.

"There's a kiss in the book?" He asks as I nod my head. "Yeah, this is why you have to read the book before acting in the film!" I laugh gently as I say it.

"We should probably rehearse that scene, I mean we wouldn't want to be prepared." He's getting cocky, and I like it. "Healthy reminder, I hadn't seen you in person since yesterday." "Yeah, but it's normal now to do things like this early on. We aren't in some cheesy romance movie were here now, and right now I really, REALLY wanna kiss you." My eyes dart from his eyes, to his lips, then back up again.

"What's stopping you Thames?" He cups my face and kisses me, it's a gentle kiss. He's holding me as if I could break at any moment. It's a short and sweet kiss but when we break apart from it we're as red as we can get.

"First kiss huh?" He says resting his forehead against mine. "Yep, never been kissed, other than that." I laugh closing my eyes.

"You two lovebirds done?" It was Teo. "What the fuck Teo?!" Me and Mason sit up and stare. "I wanted to come round and see how yesterday went but I can clearly see how it went." He shakes his head with a smirk on his face.

"Also your mom did say you were snuggled up to him but I wanted to see if it were true." My eyes widen in shock. "Seriously?! Oh come on seriously?!?!" I knew my mom would've said something to him, she's known him since he was born, she's known him longer than me.

"Um hi, I'm Mason." He awkwardly holds out his hand for a hand shake. "You're wearing my clothes, I think we're beyond a handshake." Mason looks at the clothes then the bedsheets. "Staying over was a last minute thing, I had no clothes."

"I'd rather not have an explanation bud, just borrow a shirt or something and give it back later or something." He leave the room and slams the door. "That was..." he starts laughing uncontrollably. "What's so funny?" I ask but he doesn't stop or respond.

"Mason come on, tell me." He grabs my face and kisses me again, still laughing. "Your reactions to everything are so cute, you're cute." He pulls me back so we're lying down again. "Let's never leave this bed. Like ever. It's just so much better than anything in the world."

His words are filled with such compassion. He's everything good in this world pulled into a 5'7 boy with brown curly hair and a heart of gold.

"Wish we could, but we've gotta get up. We can do something together if you want, like the theme park!" I sit up which he quickly does aswell. "Theme park sounds perfect. Is your friend Teo coming too?" He asks pulling me closer again.

"Probably, but we can invite someone else so it's not awkward if you want! I would say one of the cast but they're in different states right now." I grab my phone seeing that it's 7:42. "Umm sure, if you want to at least."

I call Alyvia, a co-star from the series me and teo stared on, the chucky series, to see if she's free for the theme park today and she agrees and says she'll be at mine in 20 minutes. Mason gets up and borrows one of Teo's shirts and changes in the Bathroom.

Meanwhile I change into a pair of washed put shorts, a blue and white cropped top with white Nike shoes. Finishing the outfit with a blue headband and a matching white pearl necklace and bracelet. I put on some lip balm and mascara on to complete the look.

Mason exits tbe bathroom as I'm putting my mascara back into its drawer. I'm adjusting my hair in the mirror, brushing it, and fluffing it up. As I'm doing this Mason wraps his arms around my waist, resting his head onto my shoulder.

"I'm getting some food, you want a croissant or something?" He nods and walks down the stairs with me. My mum looks at the two of us with a smirk. "Mom, me Mason, Alyvia and Teo are going to the theme park, is that ok?" She nods and even offers to drip the four of us there.

As I grab the croissant that Mason requested Teo walks in. "You two done making out now?" I give the croissant to Mason and flick Teo on the nose. "It was one kiss. Also we're going to the theme park with Alyvia weather you like it or not."

"I hate roller coasters though!" He looks like he's just shit himself. "Tough luck boo. I'm sure you'll be fine, you were fine at Disney world!"
"Yeah because most of the rides were tame! The teacups were my only hope with your tower of terror obsession."

I grab my purse and a chocolate crêpe. "Quit whining, you forced me to go to the art museum 7 times this past week, it's Thursday!" The door knocks and Alyvia is on the other side, in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.

"Alyvia come meet Evelyn's new boyfriend." Teo shouts and she peaks her head around the door and Mason awkwardly waves. "The boy you're staring in that film with?!" She squeals and hugs me tightly. "It was a kiss! Guys come on."

"Right I've had enough of teen romance, get in the car before I change my mind about taking you to the theme park." My mom is a lifesaver. We all get in the car, driving to the theme park.
