Chapter 33

Waking up with your boyfriend is the best feeling. Having his arm around your waist is a feeling you'll never forget. So when I wake up with Mason's arm around my waist, his head buried in neck I stay like that as long as possible. Sometimes I'll lie there for an hour in that feeling.

Today was one of those days and Mason woke up, "Morning babe." He kisses the back of my neck softly. I smile at the warmth creeping up my neck. "Morning Thames." I turn around and snuggle closer to him. "You're finding out if you got that role in Cobra kai today." He reminds me and my face brightens. I auditioned for Cobra kai as Johnny Lawrence's daughter. She doesn't come in until the 6th season and they're about to start filming here in LA. My agent suggested to role and I went for it.

"Shit, wait what if I don't get it? What if I'm not good enough for the role?!" I panic but Mason puts his hands on my face. "I know you, you're the best actor in this business. You're getting that part." He places a kiss on my forehead, then one on each cheek, my nose and finally my lips.

"Thank you, I really needed that." I kiss him gently again. All of a sudden I get a call on my phone. "SHIT ITS THEM. MASON IT'S THEM!!" I shout and we both sit up. I take a deep breath in and answer the phone. "Hello, this is Evelyn Meester, who is this?" I ask in the most calm tone I can. "Hello this is the Cobra kai team, calling in regards your audition tape for the role Freya Lawrence." The male on the other end of the phone states.

"We would absolutely love to give you the part, filming does start in a few weeks, but there's a meeting for you to get to know the cast your age if that's alright. You may bring one plus one and we're meeting at ***** filming studio tomorrow, understood?" He says in one go. "Yes, get of course, thank you for the opportunity!"

I hang up the phone and turn to Mason. "Well?" He must not have heard the call. "I got it!" He hugs me tightly and places soft kisses around my face. "Oh my god seriously?!" I nod and he hugs me tighter. "Babe I'm so fucking proud of you!" He lifts me out of bed, my legs wrapped around him and spins the pair of us around. "Mason put me down, put me down!" I giggle and he does, placing another kiss on my lips. "Now I've got a favour to ask you, tomorrow I'm meeting the cast of the show and they want me to bring a plus one, will you meet the cast with me?" I ask and he nods his head enthusiastically. He loves Cobra kai, he's been a fan even before the show was released when he first watched Karate kid.

"Are you kidding?! Of course I will!" We finally decide to get dressed and do something productive. And by that I mean put on our matching tracksuits and watch TV. For the whole day. It's not healthy but the next day was gonna be a long one.

The next day

The time is 7AM and I need to get ready, I'm hanging out with brand new cast mates today. I haven't done that since the Black Phone and it was easier since it was virtual, but this time I'm seeing them face to face. It's terrifying. But at least Mason's gonna be there with me.

I put on some black jeans and a hot pink crop top. I straighten my hair and put on some makeup. Mason comes out the bathroom with wet hair, he must've showered at my place. "I love your hair wet." I walk over to him and kiss him softly. "Well I would keep it this way, but I've got to dry it." He says and before he goes into the bathroom to dry it I Stop him. "Let me do it, please?" He obliges, sitting down at my desk while I dry his hair. It's really soft even when it's wet and I enjoy doing mundane things with him.

Once I finish he goes back into the bathroom and changes into jeans and a black top. We're about to leave but Mason insists of taking pictures of me. "Mase, we're gonna be late come on." I say but he doesn't listen. "Is it a crime to want to take pictures of my beautiful girlfriend?" I chuckle and he takes alot of pictures, like alot.
