One Last Kiss {EreRi/RiRen}

Chapter Nine

Levi;

The sound of 3DMGs in the distance broke Eren and I apart. Eren frantically tried to hide and started to get up, however, he ended up losing his balance and dragging himself and myself into the pond.

"Jaeger I swear to God!" I started before he placed a finger over his lips and pointed up. There was a group of scouts going right over the small clearing with their 3DMGs. Eren and I moved ourselves so we were hiding in some plants growing in the pond.

"Tch. Dirty." I muttered. Eren told me to be quiet as he huddled a little closer to me. The scouts were coming down into the clearing.

"Why did we stop here?" A voice asked.

"I thought I heard Levi!" I heard a voice that could only belong to Hanji say.

"Shit." I muttered. Eren turned his head slightly towards me.

"What?" He mouthed.

"Hanji. She's crazy." I mouthed back. The confusion in his eyes melted as he nodded in realization of who Hanji was.

"Hanji, there's nobody here. We have things to do. Titans to experiment on..." A voice said, trailing off.

"Oh right! My Titan babies! We have to go check on them!" Hanji quickly said, before the sound of the scouts taking off on their 3DMG declared that they had left. I sighed a little.

"Dammit, Hanji." I said, earning a little laugh from Eren.

"She's the crazy one, huh?" Eren asked.

"Yeah. Her mission almost got you killed." I said as I reached for his hand and intertwined them together. "Thank God it didn't."

Eren;

Levi grabbed my hand and pulled me close. I leaned in and kissed him. He eagerly kissed back.

"We have to go." Levi said, breaking apart. I placed my head in the crook of his shoulder.

"I don't want to. Ever. I want to stay here with you forever." He lifted my head and softly kissed me.

"Me too." He whispered on my lips.

We dried off and got back on our horses. We had to get back quickly because it was almost dinner time.

"Eren! Where have you been?" Mikasa asked as soon as she saw me walking towards my room.

"With me," Levi said. "We had a small mission to do. None of your business." He finished, arms crossed and face blank.

"I don't believe you." Mikasa retorted.

"Tch. You probably should. I am much higher up here than you and I would consider being a little mor-"

"Levi." I said, placing a hand on his arm. I felt tension building up in his body, then relax at my touch. He yanked away from my touch.

"Whatever." Levi huffed as he walked away and towards his room. Mikasa raised her eyebrows at me.

"What was that all about?" Mikasa asked.

"Like Levi said, none of your business." I replied. She shrugged and went off. I got some food and decided to just eat it in the basement.

Hours passed and I couldn't sleep. The way Levi had yanked away from me earlier was making me worry.

He probably regrets everything he did with me. Oh God. I think I've messed everything up. I groaned as I put my arms over my face.

"What've I done." I asked myself.

"I don't know, what have you done, Brat?" I heard someone say. Levi. Why was he down here?

"Levi?" I asked through the darkness as I sat up on my bed.

"Who else would it be?" Levi asked. I turned and lit the candle I had on my night stand and stood up.

"Why are you here?" I timidly asked.

"I can't get you out of my head. You're driving me crazy, Jaeger. Fucking crazy." He said.

"Sorry?" I tried.

"Is it a bad thing?" He questioned.

"You talk about it like it is." I whispered. He walked towards me and lifted my chin up so I was looking him in the eyes.

"Maybe it isn't." He softly placed his lips into mine in a sweet, delicate kiss. I immediately kissed back as I placed my hands on his hips and he ran his fingers through my hair.

I kissed him a little harder and he responded. Somehow, we had fallen over on the bed. Levi crawled up to me and continued kissing me, my hands still on his hips. His lips moved from my lips, to my jaw, to my neck.

"Levi." I moaned.

"God what've you done to me." Levi muttered to himself. He came back up to my face and kissed me again.

Eventually, the kisses turned into small delicate ones again. I laid down and Levi placed his head on my chest. He kissed me one more time before muttering,

"Goodnight, Brat."

I kissed the top of his head and intertwined our fingers.

"Goodnight, Levi."

A/N:

aye I had 2 finals between yesterday and today ugh
AND I HAVE SOMETHING I NEED SOME HELP WITH OK:
so I am going to an OUTDOOR concert (there are gonna be a few different bands, including my fave band: Panic! At The Disco) and I need some tips. It starts at 2 PM and goes until 10PM BUT Panic! won't play until about 8PM. I really want to be near the front (there is an estimated 7500 people going to be there) and I need advice!
