Chapter Fourteen

Eren;

I made my way down the hall to the dining area.

"Eren! Over here!" I looked over to see Armin, waving at me. I smiled and walked over to him. Mikasa was also with him and they were both eating breakfast.

"Morning!" I said.

"What's with you?" Mikasa asked me.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You seem unusually happy." She stated. I felt me smile falter. I shrugged.

"I don't know. Maybe I'm just in a good mood." I replied, looking down at Armin's plate of food. I took some of his bread despite his protests and stuffed it in my mouth.

"Hey!" Armin exclaimed. Mikasa sighed and I stood up.

"I'm going to my room. I'll see you guys later." They both nodded and I turned around and headed towards my room. I was lost in thought when hands covered my eyes and mouth and more hands grabbed my legs and arms. I flailed around trying to break free, but failed miserably.

I felt myself being taken somewhere as I still continued to thrash in an attempt to be freed. I was eventually set down on a chair and had my hands tied behind my back. I looked up to see Mikasa and Petra.

"Eren,"  began Petra. "We know that you and Corporal Levi are having, how shall I put it, personal affairs with one another. Relationships between the same gender is not something that has been taken lightly in the past. Corporal Levi is supposed to love me and marry me and you are complicating this plan."

"Not to mention that Levi is way too old for you and he almost got you killed." Mikasa chimed in.

"That too," Petra continued. "However, we have created a plan that we want you to go through with."

"What if I don't?" I hissed. Petra sighed.

"Then we tell Erwin about you and Levi and you will probably be kicked out of the Survey Corps and you'll have to find somewhere else to go. And Levi will likely be relocated somewhere far away from you." She said. I felt my eyes widen slightly. They can't take him away! Can they?

"What's the plan?" I sighed.

"You are going to turn yourself over to the military police." Petra dead panned.

"WHAT?" I squeaked.

"You have to. It's the only way to separate you and Levi. Forever." I felt my body begin to tremble as tears formed in my eyes.

"I c-can't." I stuttered. Petra sighed and crossed her arms.

"And why is that?" She asked.

" I c-can't leave Levi! I l-love him!" Petra laughed.

"Okay sure! But you know that Levi will never love you back right?"

"He says he does. Levi loves me and I don't want to leave him!" I exclaimed. Petra's face hardened.

"Sure he does. Keep trying to convince yourself he loves you. Levi is incapable of love and he would never, ever, love you." She narrowed her eyes at me.

"I c-can't leave him." I whispered again as tears fell down my face.

"You will leave tomorrow night. All of the dance excitement will make it easy for you to slip away and meet us. We will take you to the Military Police and all of this will be over." I sniffed.

"You won't hurt Levi will you?" I asked, my voice cracking. Petra smiled in an overly sweet way.

"Of course not." She said in a sickly sweet voice. I nodded slightly.

"Fine. I'll do it. But you cannot hurt Levi. And please make sure he stays safe. Also, you cannot tell Erwin about us." I commanded.

"Alight, alright. Do we have a deal?" Petra asked.

"Yes." I whispered, looking down at the floor.

"Great. Now you will not speak a word of this to Levi, understand?" I nodded weakly. "Good. You are free to leave now." She said as Mikasa untied my hands. I dashed away from her.

"I can't believe you would help her!" I hissed at her as I ran out of the room. I quickly made my way to the basement, trying to hold my tears in and conceal the ones that fell down my face silently.

I finally made my way to the basement. I ran to my bed and curled into a ball on it. I let all the tears flow. I slowly felt myself drift off into sleep as tears continued to drip down my face.

Levi;

I waited for the stupid brat for 20 minutes before I realized something was wrong. I got up and made my way to his room. It was past one in the morning and I knew no one would be up so I ran to Eren's room. I quietly went down the stairs.

"Eren?" I whispered. No answer. I crept down the stairs and heard soft snores come from his bed. I walked over to his bed to see him sleeping. He had what looked like tear stains on his face. I shook him. "Eren? Eren please wake up." He slowly woke up and sat up. He threw his arms around my neck.

"I missed you. So, so much." He whispered. I sat down next to him and wrapped my arms around him.

"It hasn't been that long, brat." I chuckled slightly. When I didn't hear Eren's usual laugh I pulled back. "What's wrong?" I asked, wiping tears that had started to stream down his face away. He shook his head and buried his face into my shoulder. I kissed the top of his head and hugged him again.

I lifted his head and looked him in the eyes. Sadness was invading his usually happy eyes. I felt my face fall.

"I'm fine. I'm fine." Eren insisted as he wiped tears away. I softly pressed my lips onto his and he moaned quietly. I smiled a little and pulled back, touching my forehead to his. "Levi?" I heard Eren say. I looked up at him.

"Yeah?"

"Do you love me? Like really, truly, actually love me?" He asked, sadness evident in his eyes. I cupped his face in my hands.

"Eren, I love you so much it physically hurts me to not have you around. I want to be with you forever. I want to hear your laugh, wake up next to you, help you through the rough times. Forever. I never want to leave your side. Eren, I promise with my whole heart that I love you more than anything else in the world." I looked him in the eyes as he smiled at me and pressed his lips onto mine.

"I love you too. So, so much." He whispered. I smiled softly and laid down, motioning for him to lay down next to me.

"Goodnight, Eren."

"Goodnight, Levi."

A/N:

I actually don't hate Petra at all and I really like Mikasa too, I just needed some 'villains' for the story and this is the best I could think of at the time...
And I feel really bad that you guys had to wait like a month for a new chapter so yay 2 chapters within a few days of each other!
