Lyric's POV
I'm so glad Harry and I are okay. I don't know what I'd do if he'd have broken it off. I love him, I really, really do. I'd finished picking out all of Kale's clothes for tour and was putting out his clothes when I was finally able to go downstairs and take him off of Lou.
"Lyric, why don't you let me put him to sleep?" Louis asked.
"I'm going to bathe him, and I thought it might be fun to read him a story to put him to sleep," I told him.
He nodded and I turned and walked upstairs to the bathroom. "Tubby time!" Kale yelled.
"You wanna take a tubby?" I asked, starting the water.
"Yeah, Mummy, yeah!" he jumped up and down in my arms.
I sat him down and he started walking around. I swear, ever since we started staying with Harry and the lads he's grown even smarter. He walks, he talks a lot more, he knows his colors, he's starting to count. My baby's growing up too fast.
"C'mon, baby, let's get you undressed so we can get you in the tubby," I said.
He held up his arms so I could pull off his shirt and then he laid down so I could take off his pants and diaper. He stood back up and walked over to the bath.
"In, Mummy, in!" he cried.
I lifted him up and set him in the warm water. "Oooo," he giggled.
I washed his body and massaged the baby shampoo into his brown curls. When he started to fall asleep, I picked him up and dried him off. I put on his diaper and put him in his four leaf clover pajamas.
He rested his head on my shoulder, sucking on his bottle as I sat with him in his rocking chair. I decided to put on the soothing sounds tape Liam had bought Kale and just rock him to sleep. It started with rain forest noises and then went to jungle noises.
"Wuv you, Mummy," he yawned.
"I pove you, too, Kale," I told him. He fell asleep as the marine life noises came on and I just sat there rocking him.
"Lyric, love? Are you going to cone to bed?" Harry asked. "It's 11:00," he told me.
I yawned and nodded, "Yeah, I guess I lost track of time," I mumbled, standing up.
I laid Kale in his crib and walked to Harry, laying my head on his chest. "Come on, love. Let's go to bed," he said and walked me across the hall to our room.
"I love you, Harry," I said as I laid my head on his chest, his heart beat lulling me to sleep.
"I love you more," I heard him say before sleep took over me.
