Harry's POV
I woke up expecting to see Lyric next to me, but she wasn't next to me. She must have gone downstairs already, I thought to myself.
I got up and pulled on a pair of sweats and walked downstairs. There wasn't anyone down here. There was a note from Liam saying he was out with Dani and that he'd be home later. Other than that there was no sign that anyone else was up.
I frowned and walked upstairs to Kale's room. He was in his crib but I didn't see Lyric anywhere. I went over to his crib to see him standing up with his green eyes open and looking around. He smiled when he saw me.
"Kale, do you know where momma is?" I asked.
He shook his head, making his brown curls bounce. "Un," he pointed at the door. I turned around and saw Louis.
"Do you know where Lyric is?" I asked.
He frowned, "We talked a bit downstairs last night when he woke up. Then we came upstairs and she put him to bed. I assumed she'd go back in your room," he told me.
"She wasn't there when I woke up," I sighed.
"Maybe she's in the bathroom?" he said.
I shook my head, "I checked on my way up here. Could she have left?" my voice broke. Would she have left? Without Kale? Without a warning? After we'd just gotten together?
Louis shook his head, "She wouldn't leave without Kale. She might be in one of the other boys' rooms," he said.
"But why wouldn't she come back into my room? I'm her boyfriend," I said.
"Maybe you were being a bed hog," he said.
I nodded and picked Kale up. I carried him to Zayn's room and knocked before entering. He was there but she wasn't. Next I went into Niall's room, she wasn't in there either.
"Don't panic," Louis said, "She's here somewhere."
I nodded and looked in Liam's room. No sign of Lyric. I ran my hand through my hair. Where is she? "Louis where else could she be?" I asked.
"Did you look in the closet?" Zayn asked coming out of his room. I walked over to the closet and opened the door.
Lyric was there curled up in a ball under a coat. I sighed and looked at Zayn, "How did you know?" I asked.
"I fell asleep in that closet once when I was drunk," he said.
I nodded and handed Kale to Louis. I bent down and picked Lyric up and carried her back to my room. "Harry?" she mumbled.
"I'm right here, babe."
"You have a really uncomfortable bed," she mumbled.
"Love, you fell asleep in the closet," I chuckled.
"Nu-uh, I came back into your room," she said.
"Babe, trust me, you were no where near my bed last night."
She put her hands on my cheeks and pulled my face to hers and kissed me. "I'm awake now," she breathed.
I sat on my bed and she wrapped her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist. I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her into my chest, "You started to worry me for a minute," I told her.
"I'm sorry, Haz."
"I know."
"Where's Kale?" she asked.
"He's with Louis," I told her.
"I love Louis, Harry," she told me.
"I do, too."
"Why do you like me?" she asked.
"Why wouldn't I?" I asked, "You're beautiful, you're nice, kind, funny, you're far from the usual. When you smile, I smile, when you cry, I want to cry and hurt whatever it is that made you cry," I told her.
She nodded and kissed my neck. My breath hitched in my throat and she giggled, trailing kisses up and down my neck. She found my soft spot and I bit my lip to keep the moan in my throat quiet.
"Harry," she breathed in my ear.
"Mmmm?"
"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" she breathed. She wiggled her hips against my hardening member.
I pressed my lips against hers, "You're so mean," I growled, kissing her again.
I laid down pulling her with me and ran my fingers up and down her sides. It was her turn to bite her lip and suppress the moan coming from her throat.
I pulled away and looked in her as I ran my hand under her shirt. She leaned back in and kissed me, which I'm taking as a 'What you're doing is fine.'
She bit my lip and I opened my mouth as her tongue roamed around in my mouth. She ran her hands down my chest and stroked my abs.
"Harry," she pulled away and put her fore head to mine, "I can't do this. Not with my son in the house, and three other guys," she panted.
I pulled my hands out of her shirt and smiled, "It's okay, babe. I understand. I'll wait forever if that's what you want," I said.
She shook her head, "That's not what I want."
"Good, I don't want to wait that long," I grinned and kissed her. "C'mon, let's go see the baby," I said.
