Lyric's POV
We drove back to the hotel and everyone came to our room. "How about a game of Monopoly?" Liam asked.
"Yeah!" I exclaimed. I did a little mini twerk, Harry joining and Kale smiling and moving his hips back and forth. I giggled and picked him up, spinning him around and nuzzling my nose into his cheek.
Niall laughed at us and told us he'd be right back with the board game. I kissed Kale's cheek and sat him down beside Harry and went to pop some popcorn in the microwave and get sodas for everyone.
Niall came back with Monopoly and we all sat around the table. "I will own you," I smirked.
Zayn and Louis raised their eyebrows at me, "You think so?" Zayn asked.
I nodded confidently, "Yup," I said, popping the p.
"Well, YOU'RE WRONG!" Louis yelled.
I rolled my eyes and we began playing. We played for nearly three hours before Kale started to get sleepy.
And guess what? I won! "You cheat!" Zayn and Louis exclaimed, standing up and pointing at me.
"How?" I asked.
They shared a look, then looked back at me and spoke in sync, "We don't know, but we will find out, and we will get our revenge," they said before turning on their heels and walking out of our hotel room.
I shook my head and everyone else bid us goodbye before they left as well. I started cleaning up the popcorn bowls and cups used for soda and water bottles. I put the board game up, reminding myself to return it to Niall in the morning.
"Hey, babe?" Harry called from the bathroom where he was giving Kale a bath.
"Yes, Hazza?" I asked, standing in the doorway.
"What is this?" he asked, pointing to a little purple and red bump on Kale's side.
"I-I don't know," I said, a frown clear on my face.
Harry brushed his fingers along it, his eyes glued to Kale's face. Kale stepped away from Harry's touch, pushing his fingers away, "Don't touch it, Daddy," he said.
"Does it hurt, Kale?" Harry asked and Kale gave a small nod. Harry looked at me and my eyes widened. "Have you ever seen this before?" he asked.
I shook my head, "No. Nothing like that," I said with a gulp.
Harry nodded, "Go get him some pajamas and call Liam. Tell him we're going to the hospital and that they can either meet us there or we'll call them," he told me.
I nodded and jogged to Kale's suitcase and grabbing a pair of blue and red striped footsie pajamas. I threw them to Harry and called Liam.
"Hello?" he answered on the second ring.
"Liam, Harry and I are taking Kale to the hospital," I said quickly. In all honesty, I was panicking.
"Why? What's wrong?" he asked.
"He's got a red and purple bump in his side that neither Harry nor I have ever seen. Harry said you can all either meet us there or we'll call you when we find out. I've gotta go now, Li," I said.
"Wait! Lyric! You should get Lou! We all know he'd want to go an know what's going on. He'll want to be with Kale the whole time!" he told me.
I nodded, "Okay, I'll get him. Thanks, Li. I'll talk to you soon," I told him.
"We'll be at the hospital, Lyric," he said.
"Thanks, Liam," I said.
"Bye, Lyr," he said and I hung up.
"Take Kale out to the car, I'll be down in jus a moment. I've got to get Louis," I told Harry.
He nodded, "That'd be a good idea," he said and we both jogged out the door.
I ran to the door that was Louis' and banged on the door. Louis opened the door and I grabbed his wrist.
"Lyric? What's going on?" he asked.
"No time to explain. We need to go. Kale, hospital, now. Come on, Lou," I owners as I ran towards the stairs.
He kicked it into gear as he heard the words Kale and hospital. We ran down all twenty flights of stairs, through the lobby, across the car park and to the van that Harry and Kale waited for us.
Louis and I panted and when he finally caught his breath he looked at me, "What is going on?" he asked.
"Small, purple and red bump on Kale's side," I said, resting my head on the window.
Louis patted my back and I turned to look at him, "In sure it's nothing," he whispered but I could see the uncertainty in his eyes.
I nodded and Harry pulled up outside the hospital. We grabbed Kale and the three of us jogged in. "Hello, how can I help you?" a receptionist asked.
"My son has a small red and purple bump on his side and I've never seen anything like it so we came to get him checked out," Harry said quickly in one breath.
The nurse nodded and motioned us to follow her. We did and I paced back and forth as the nurse took Kale's temperature and all that fun jazz. The doctor took a look at Kale and poke and prodded the bump, asking Kale if it hurt. Then he turned to Harry, Louis, and me.
"I've come to a conclusion," he stated simply.
