Alya's POV:
I stormed out of the room feeling nothing but rage and doubt. Marinette's DEFINITELY going to kill me now! I shouldn't have been so reckless and bringing up the superhero side of things. I raged as I found the nearest robot. "How fast can we get Marinette Dupain- Cheng discharged?" I asked as they did the calculations.
"We need to do a quick checkup and (depending on how that goes) we might be able to get her out today." The robot informed as it followed me back to Marinette's room. I pushed open the door and found the two of the kissing. Oh jeez! I silently moaned as they broke apart.
"Hey, the robots said they need to give Marinette a check over before they can get her discharged." I said as they both nodded.
"I'll see you in a bit then." Adrian said as he left the room following alongside me as the door clicked shut.
"Well... that explains your odd behaviour." I stated as he shrugged.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He said sarcastically as we waited in the waiting room for Marinette. We stayed silent for what seemed like hours, not daring to talk. We waited there for a while before she came out.
"They gave me the all clear." She cheered as I noticed the walking stick. "Oh, that. I have to use it until my legs can take my weight without buckling under me." She explained as she noticed me looking at her cane.
"Come on then. We've got a a lot of people to see." Adrian said as we all smiled, making our way out.

Marinette's POV:
We found most of our classmates inside the bakery with a welcome back party. Me and my friend celebrated for hours. I got so many hugs from everyone that I was filled to the brim with joy. I half-hugged back, not trusting my legs were strong enough to hold me up by themselves yet. For a moment, I thought I was going to float away.
Everyone was either playing Ultimate Mega Strike III or filling me in on what's been going on. "...and there was even a new superhero for a while." Alix summed up as I put on my shocked face.
"Really who?" I questioned.
"Another ladybug miraculous holder who called herself Scarabella. She was amazing, not that I'd choose her over our Ladybug. I really hope she's back in Paris soon." Alix explained as Alya slid onto the sofa next to me.
"Hey you two. Whatcha doing?"
"I was telling Marinette about the other superhero in Paris." Alix informed as Alya gave me a look.
"Really? Now, who wants to play a game?" Alya declared as I practically leaped for the controller.
"Best of 6 rounds. Winner from each side will face in the finals!" I yelled loud enough for everyone to hear. The apartment erupted with cheer as everyone raced for controllers or a good spot to watch the game. I destroyed every challenger that faced me. Alix and Alya came close but my super attack finished them pretty good. I looked over to the boys side and it was Max vs Adrian. This will be good. I thought. It had been ages since Max and Adrian last played this game together. The battled with all of their strength until one was victorious.
"YES!!!"
"NO!!!"
Adrian leaped up with his controller in hand while Max buried his head in his hands. "That was a good game, Max." Adrian complimented as Max looked up.
"You're right. That was a good game." He said as they shook hands on it.
"Well look at the time, we'd better be getting home." Alya noted as she looked at the time.
"I'll see you all tomorrow." I called as they all filed out of the apartment.
After everyone left, it was just me and Adrian left. I invited him up into my bedroom and out onto the balcony area. We watched the stars dance across the sky as Adrian filled me in on what was going on while I wasn't around. "... and then Psychic came back recently. I think that's about it." Adrian summed up as looked up at the stars.
"Sounds like you and Scarabella have had quite the adventure then, huh?" I noted as he laughed through his nose.
"It does... but to be honest. Alya was right about a few things."
"She always is. Go on."
"I kept blaming myself for what happened and I am truly sorry, Marinette." He apologised as I gently placed my index finger against his lips.
"Shhh, my little kitty..." I told him before taking my finger away. "I knew it was an accident. We are only human and we do make mistakes." I assured him as he smiled. "I'm just glad to be back."
"Me too." He muttered as he placed one hand behind my back and pulled me closer as we kissed. I wish it had lasted forever until I heard the latch click. We broke apart and saw my parents watching us.
"Gah!" I really fell over in shock, thankfully Adrian kept me upright before letting his arm go back to his side. "Really. You just... how long..." I stuttered as they tried hiding their laughs.
"I guess some things never change." Adrian muttered into my ear as we followed my parents back inside. After that, I'd say that everything went back to normal. Or as normal as can be when your boyfriend is actually one of your most trusted friends and ally.
