KITA'S POV
The following week we all walked on egg shells around Ryo. His true temper showed itself that night at Daikoku and we knew from then on that he was a fore to never be reckoned with.
Ryo was usually sweet and caring with me but chose to keep his distance. He was loyal to Kai and respected our dysfunctional history. Ryo would never hurt any of us intentionally, if anything he would fight for us.
We gave Ryo some time alone for most of the week but constantly checked in on how him and his mother were doing.
After the persistent begging of my college friends, I had ended up amongst the bustling night life of Shinjuku.
She promised ease of entry into every club we wanted and a round of shots on her, so I gave into the peer pressure.
Hours of non stop talking and blaring music gave me a headache around 1am. The colourful lights and smell of sweat was going to give me a seizure.
I stumbled out into the street, instantly being enclosed with the humid, Tokyo air. Even in my drunken state, I still found myself thinking on the complexities of the moderately polluted air.
Before I knew it, my feet were walking down the dirty asphalt footpath under the neon signs. I scolded myself for never knowing my limit. Passers by looked me up and down for my 'showy' dress, making me roll my eyes.
Who am I kidding? I don't have a limit.
I chuckled to myself and sighed, realising I had been gone for far too long. My friends were probably worried sick.
As if they were listening, I receive a text from one of them.
12:55am
xxxx
Where are you???xxxx
I think Alina's been spiked?!I frowned at this and continued scrolling, trying to pick up my pace back to the club.

Sorry Kita x We're going
now! Text me when you get
home xxxMy shoulders dropped as I read the messages. The universe decided that being left alone in the city wasn't enough, the cold wind picking up violently.
I threw my head back and stared at the sky, trying to figure out my next moves. I could keep clubbing on my own, or I could just get an Uber back to my dorm.
I looked out into the street, seeing other slowly pile out of the clubs and head home themselves. I sighed and decided against staying, my bed calling my name.
I ordered an Uber and almost instantly received confirmation of a ride being around the corner. It made sense, seeing as this would be most productive for their business. I crossed my bare arms to keep them warm under my pits and started making way for the corner of the block.
I stumbled on my heel, squealing as I caught myself on a cold brick wall. My ankle rolled and shot an electrifying pain up my calf.
