Moments of Xiao and lumine

~Chapter 1 (Nostalgia of Xiao) Part 4~

After 6 months, the traveler Lumine and Paimon finally finished their journey at Inazuma and return back to Liyue. They even bought some Inazuma's local treats.

'Ahh! Paimon misses the atmosphere of Liyue for so long!'said Paimon while she was floating off the boat of Beidou. 

'Paimon, I think you don't miss the atmosphere, you miss the food the most.'Lumine didn't hesitate to break through that lie from Paimon.

'Ehe...Come on! I want to have a gigantic feast filled with Liyue food!'rushed Paimon impatiently.

'Where do you want to have your feast then, I'll let you decide.'smiled Lumine, holding a basket of delicious treats from Inazuma.

'Let's go to Wangshu Inn to meet the one you miss so much. Paimon have heard enough of his name during this journey already!'suggested Paimon with a complain tone.

Lumine had a slight blush on her face but what is more, bitterness.

Time went back to  2 months ago at Inazuma...

2 months ago...

Lumine and Paimon were at the city of Inazuma. They were walking on the pavement along the street. It was noisy because there was a fight beside them but that didn't seem to affect the traveler and her best buddy.

'Paimon... I have been thinking about something lately and it couldn't get off my mind.'sighed Lumine. She was a joyful person but still a person with troubles. She had troubles but rarely.

'Oh. Then, I'll be a good listener then.'responded Paimon slowly. She was guessing what had troubled the traveler, her brother or raiden shogun? She couldn't imagine.

'You know, you said there was something unusual about me before the trip to here. I think I figured it out.'revealed Lumine. She was shocked when she found out but Paimon was confused.

'What did Paimon said before?'asked Paimon in confusion. She scratched her head trying to remember.

 'Oh! Paimon remembered! Yeah so, what did you figure out then?'asked Paimon curiously. She was hoping the answer of the traveler will be as the same as the one she guessed a few months ago. 

'I...i think I have feelings towards Xiao but I'm not sure. I don't want any mistakes on these aspects of things. I'm just frustrated and concerned. I'm...afraid to...fall in love. My brother always told me that guys out there hurt women's feelings and left them to broken pieces. I'm just afraid to love. I love my brother even he left me. I'm sure that he has a reason to leave me behind but I don't know now as time flows. Everything seems to be out of control. He is the prince of the abyss order. I... just...'said Lumine worryingly. She closed her eyes trying to make the worrying go away but it never helped.

'Paimon thinks that your brother is just being too overprotected and he overthinks a lot. Lumine, Don't worry so much. Remember? We said we'll reach to the end together to find out the truth and ask the unknown god.'comforted Paimon. She never knew that the traveler had such a big question in her head. Lumine always seemed joyful and have no worries at all.

'I do remember. Have you noticed the fight over there?'smiled Lumine gently. She pointed towards the direction under a tree. There was a couple fighting. Or should you say, ex-couple.

'Agh! Why won't you understand me, Selina? I have told you for the tenth time! We broke up yesterday! We have no relation now! Can't you just leave me alone!'shouted the man with black hair. He was getting annoyed.

'No! I won't! Why did we break up anyways? Did I do anything wrong? I'll change! I promise! Please don't leave me! I can't live without you!'cried the woman in pain.
