Moments of Xiao and lumine

~Chapter 2 (Arrival of a blood-related of the twin) Part 2~

Ellen mind right now while wandering in the city of Mondstadt:

'I sense brother's aura getting closer and closer...He must've sensed me. But the aura is not pure at all. Different from his aura before, It's much darker and obfuscate. What had happened to him? Did he turn within evil? 

How such evil could make a prince of light a slave of evil...it seems like I've underestimated the energy and power in this world. Hm? Big brother Aether is a few miles away from me now. I've came to seek for him and sister but why do I feel worried, upset and annoyed? Is the energy of evil means affecting me now just like brother? I think I should raise my awareness higher...'

'Ellen!'shouted by a young male in a black cape, along with a detailed blue-black mask. On the mask, the mature silver linings and borders of the mask helped the male add a slightly mysterious feeling.

'Brother!'shouted Ellen in surprise. At that moment, she let down some of her guard down,put aside all her worries and embraced her long-lost brother who traveled for a extremely long time already. 

'Ellen, you've grown taller! You've become much prettier and mature now!'smiled Aether while he took off his face mask. Then, he took out a black stone hairpin and clip it on his sister's golden strand of hair on her forehead.

'What's this?'questioned Ellen while using her fingers to touch the stone carefully. She used some her light energy to protect it from breaking easily.

'It's an apology gift for leaving home so long.'answered Aether. He said a part of the truth.

'Apology accepted!'laughed Ellen in joyful smiles. She managed to use the wind elemental energy in this world to make a unique hairstyle. She tied braids beside the ears just like Venti, the Anemo God but instead she had silky long blonde back hair that were able to reach her waist.

'It seems like you are now capable of using elemental energy skilfully, well done Ellen.'praised Aether truly. He and Lumine used a whole entire month to stable the force of elemental energy. 

Ellen smiled sweetly, if it wasn't for the aura, maybe the interaction between she and her big brother was able to deceive her completely.

Suddenly, Aether frowned and closed his eyes thinking about something. His face was serious. Then he opened his eyes with a layer of annoyance and mist.

'I'll meet you tomorrow this time right here, Ellen. I've got some emergency things to do.'sighed Aether. He put on his mask in a blink of an eye and pat Ellen's head and disappeared swiftly.

'Emergencies...what kind of emergencies would a brother left her long time no see sister behind that easily.'thought Ellen in disappointment and bitterness.

In the teapot of Lumine:

'Xiao. It's time for me to go. She's at Mondstadt.'smiled Lumine. She left a gentle kiss on Xiao's cheeks.

Xiao wasn't satisfy by just a kiss, he pulled Lumine into his arms and stayed like 5 minutes.

'Xiao? You okay? You've seem to have something bothering you. You know, you can tell me.'

'It's just that. Well, I had a contract with my lord to protect Liyue. I can't leave Liyue. I can't stay by your side. I can't protect you when you need me.'

'Oh silly. I do have the ability to protect myself. I'm not as weak as you imagine.'

'But still, I feel powerless. I've promised you to stay by your side...'

Lumine didn't spoke a word but instead, she hugged Xiao tightly and whispered, 'Xiao, your existence and accompany is already my biggest joy. Companionship is the longest confession of love.  Wait for me to come back.' Then, Lumine left the teapot with Paimon.

Xiao looked at her shadow, then sighed once again. 

'If only I could leave Liyue to go with her, to stay by her side all the time...'wondered Xiao. 'The contract...'Xiao's eyes brighten up for a second, then darken back into normal.

What was this Yaksha thinking? Surely it was related to the contract of his.

'I need a place to stay.'thought Ellen. She comforted herself by eating sweets which she brought from home world. The candies had a rich flavour of the combination of Vanilla, almond and milk. It was Aether's favourite but she forgot to give him as she was soaked in joy of meeting her brother.

'I mean, I could build a treehouse. I could chop down some trees and gather wood. I could even decorate it and make it feel like it's just like home. Once I've finish, I could put it in my ring for another night. Seems like a great idea.'thought Ellen in excitement. 

The last time she built one was at 367 years old which was a long time ago. She was not allowed to do anything 'inappropriate' things to ruin reputation of the royals. As she, the next heir of the kingdom of Light and Hope before. She was (is) queen now.

You might question, wouldn't Aether and Lumine be the heir since they were bigger? 

No. No. No. Well, were.

 Aether hated to deal with all those paperwork and documents so he refused to be the heir. He gave the option to Lumine. Then, Lumine refused to do so. Why? She is alright with the paperwork but one thing that really stressed her out was the manners and the terrifying educations.

Don't look at Lumine so appropriate and elegant nowadays, she got a bunch of educations for learning literally everything. But she only learnt how to use a sword just like her brother. She couldn't get the hang of other weapons. She raged and quit.

And now, Ellen was the one carrying all those educations of manners and learning how to use a sword, bow, magic books and more weapons. She was(is) a high talented person but she sometimes wanted to give out the heir but she had no choice since there were only three members of royals. The twin always bring gifts and treats to her as an apology for the heir thing.

Ellen was (is) queen at the moment. She finally didn't need to learn other things and can enjoy herself. She could learn whatever she wanted to. She didn't need any permission of others as she now took control of everything. (That's a great thing. :) ) Like this time, she didn't need to tell anyone where she went.

 You may ask, how about the paperwork and documents she needed to do everyday? Oh boy, it was all about speed and technology.

Remember the ring she had? It also contained a function of sending paperwork and documents as she requested for efficiency. She could do work at any time, just do it before the deadline. It was somehow not that stressful for Ellen though. She took 15 minutes of 1 day, then all those were done. How efficient.

Okay okay so... I provided a lot of background information and Uhh...I am thinking of shipping Ellen with somebody else. But it looked like Ellen's content seemed to be too much? I might open another book of her and a certain someone which I had in mind already. I'll put a warning of the ship if I start another book.

The part 2 is shorter than usual but I tried my best. :p
