Moments of Xiao and lumine

~Chapter 5 (Double Trouble) Part 2~

'Don't leave me behind!'
'Wait until I come back. Stay safe Lumi no matter what.'
'Sister! Hold on! I'm trying my very best to break the barrier!'
'Lumine, who did this to you?'

Once Xiao got teleported out back to reality, he figured out himself laying beside a tree with Lumine on the floor. They were located near where they found Paimon.
'Lumine!'shouted Xiao, very worried. The traveler was still in coma,trapped in an illusion. 'Ah! Xiao! You're finally awake.'said Zhongli in surprise. 'My lord! Please save her!'asked Xiao anxiously. 'Calm down. Paimon here found you two fainting together after she came back from wandering around.  She flew to get me for help. I'm not an expert but I did a little checking. You two are in some sort of coma. If you two don't wake up soon, you might never will ever wake up again.'explained Zhongli in short. He looked towards the fairy with teary eyes, Paimon. She was shaking Lumine's arms non-stop, trying to wake her up. 'Wah! Lumine! Wake up!'cried the fairy loudly.
'My lord. Lumine and I...'Xiao explained what had happened in the illusion briefly. 'Hm...A copy of you. Illusion...Stepping on the land of Mondstadt made you left the illusion.'mumbled Zhongli, thinking for a solution. 'If so, how do we send the way of exiting to Lumine?'said Paimon, she flew in front of Zhongli, longing for an answer. 'The easiest way is to find the person who made the illusion and destroy the illusion by force. The problem is where are they?'thought Paimon deeply, she scratched her head with no clue. Zhongli spoke out, 'How strange are they to only make the map of Liyue. They must be very familiar with Liyue. Could they actually be in Liyue?'

 'We got no time to waste. No matter where they are, we need to find them.'stated Xiao with a freezing tone. 'Wait Xiao, this might happen to be a distraction for us to leave the Liyue Harbour. Let's think it on this way, you and the traveler were trapped into an illusion without even noticing until the fake "Lumine" behaved suspiciously. You are a Yaksha but yet you couldn't notice. We can know that the there might be a strong being behind the organisation. He or she might be a god or a mortal who has reached the level of a God.'stopped Zhongli with some detective findings. Xiao frowned in a somber face, things were getting much severe and complicated, even a god alike being is involved in this. 'Xiao, what we can do is to sit here and wait for the traveler to wake up. My gnosis was exchanged so my battle combat won't be as good as before. Xiao, did you feel anything?'asked Zhongli sighing. 'I can't use my strength.'said Xiao in confusion. He took a deep breathe, trying to revolve the energy in his body to his hands but still he couldn't use his strength. Xiao widen open his eyes and said in realisation, 'Those illusion have some sort of poison to stop me from battling.' 'Exactly. The illusion somehow invade your body health and consume your energy. I've fed you two some medicine to stop it from invading when you were in coma. But still, you won't be able to use your strength in battle for a couple of days.'explained Zhongli. He was surprised to know that a illusion had such intense ferocious function/effect. Xiao sat down weakly, staring onto Lumine's sleeping look. Oh just look at such beauty, how could one know that the beauty was in great danger? He closed his eyes, mumbled as he sighed, 'Once again, I could do nothing to protect you but sit here.'

Two days later...

(Xiao and Paimon took turns to take detailed care of Lumine. They aren't at the same spot. They were in the tea pot to be in exact. Zhongli was in the tea pot to have a check up on her. He will come once per day and right now is his doctor time?)

It was Xiao's turn to take care of his mate. He quietly walked near the sleeping beauty, Lumine. He bent down his waist and kissed her forehead, softly said, 'If you happen to wake up, I won't let you leave me ever again, I promise. Please wake up my sweet Lumi.' The speech was humble and sincere. Xiao stayed with his dearest love until she woke up. Xiao ensured the room had no one and spoke with a heavy smile, 'Lumi, you know. I kept asking myself, why do i keep letting you go through all of this alone and I couldn't help nor save you. I could only watch you suffer. I...Just what can I do? I am such an irresponsible lover, ain't I?' Xiao constantly kept putting all the blame on himself. All the unlucky, bad things were on his shoulder.
