Moments of Xiao and lumine

~Chapter 5 (Double Trouble) Part 1~

'Augh! This is getting out of hand! That little girl seemed so weak and defenceless but it is the opposite! It will probably take only a few more days for her to break the barrier we put to trap her. She is crazy! Non-stop hitting the barrier! Doesn't she need a rest?' grumbled the voice which was very hoarse.  A weak and frightened voice was shaking beside the hoarse voice. The weak one said weakly, 'Yes-s...We planned to t-trap her for at l-least a few months so that we have t-time to prepare another b-barrier.' 'Augh! This was out of my calculation. Now I can't impress $#&=*#= !'said the hoarse voice angrily. Looked like someone had a bad temper.

It was silent. The two voices were forced by someone which caused them to be speechless. They couldn't talk nor scream for help. 

'Have I ordered you to do such ignorant thing?'

Soon after the new deep voice appeared. The hoarse and weak voice were never to be heard again.

'This is...? Some data of...'

In the meantime, Xiao and Lumine came to find Paimon who was alone overnight.

'Paimon...? Where are you?'shouted Lumine out loud. Liyue was just too big to find someone. 'Chill, she can take care of herself well.'comforted Xiao but he frowned at the same time because they've been finding that stupid fairy for two whole hours. 'That fairy kept worrying Lumine. Does she not know how to find us?'thought Xiao in annoyance. He spotted someone laying down on the floor like a dead pig.

'Lumine, I think that's your fairy.'said Xiao, he held Lumine's hand carefully, like a caring husband who cares his wife. (They're not married yet but soon...but not that soon though.)

'Ah, good eye Xiao. Paimon!'praised Lumine while pulling Xiao's hand towards where Paimon was. Paimon was laying down the floor in a horrible nightmare. Paimon was mumbling with crystal clear tears, '#&$*#&#(first companion of hers)...*#&*#&#(second companion), you too? You're not gonna leave me too right, Lumine...?'the mumbling's volume got lower and lower, until Xiao and Lumine couldn't hear. The two of them looked at each other in confusion, who were the names Paimon just said? 

'Looks like this fairy has some secrets hiding from you.'stated Xiao who crossed his arms. Lumine wasn't aware but still replied, 'I mean, everybody has a secret on their own.' She bent down her waist and shook Paimon to wake up.

'Wake up Paimon. It's 12a.m. now.'said Lumine with a voice as gentle as a lullaby. Paimon slowly woke up in Lumine's reminder.

 Paimon woke up in front of two faces, a frightening Xiao face and a kind face of Lumine. 'Gah! Lumine? Xiao?'screamed Paimon in fear. She rubbed her eyes yawning. She remembered something and raised her head towards Lumine's face, 'Lumine...I...'Lumine smiled and patted Paimon's head, 'Paimon. Xiao and I decided to stay in Teyvat. We will be together again.' 'What! Really?'Paimon's eyes were widely open and filled with little bright stars. 'Yes, you flying annoying fairy.'Xiao rolled his eyes. This fairy was truly annoying and a deaf one. 

'Oh Piamon is so happy right now!'giggled Paimon joyfully. She noticed that Lumine and Xiao standing closer together than before Their relationship must've been closer and closer. She thought of something weird then smiled in a "I get it" way.
'Paimon is just gonna go to Liyue Harbour and walk around. You two can have some "personal" space.' Lumine's face was red and tried to explain, 'You misunderstood! We aren't at that stag-...' while Xiao just looked away, who was still flustered though. 'No need to explain anything. I get it.'Paimon disrupted Lumine's explanation and flew away. 

After Paimon flew away with a creepy smile, Xiao invited Lumine for a walk among the green grass.  (Wow! Xiao knows how to invite someone now.)The Yaksha, Xiao and Lumine were wandering the mountains in Liyue like an ordinary couple. Ah yes, the peaceful life. (Speaking of "Peaceful Life", I might start another book about XiaoLumi irl. Depends on my thoughts in the future.)
