Taehyung's POV:
Another one. I'm tired of this. Human's hunger for power is very persistent. They're one stubborn species. What do they think? These girls can tame me. With being persistent they're stupid too. Taming a beast like me. I scoffed. I look at her, her fragile figure laying unconscious in front of me. I leaned closer to her face. She looks so calm and peaceful. I loathe peace, I loathe her kind, humans. I leaned back but something else caught my attention. Her sleeves were tucked up showing her bare wrists. And I noticed a few scars. Not any regular one that could've happened by any accident but one that had been given personally. Few were older ones but few were fresh. The dried blood still lingered on her flesh. The veins were avoided. Probably they've been given to ease the inner pain. I'm too familiar with this thing. I looked at her face again. What problems, and pains she has to do such things? She made me curious. Humans are deceiving but for the first time, my heart is doing a debate with my mind. It was the first time after so many years my heart meddled with my brain. I leaned down and picked her up. She's hiding so much wearing the mask of beauty. Beautiful. What did I just say? My heart pounded inside its ribcage. I shook my head. Humans are deceiving as I have seen them. And I need to keep it in my mind. They are the jester who can act and make you a fool, They're the monster of the fairytales who comes in disguise, win your trust, and then betray you. I need to keep chanting this mantra.
Humans are deceiving!
Humans are deceiving!
Humans are deceiving!
I'm just curious about her nothing else. And once I'll get my answers she will be like all of the others. DEAD.

Birds chirping, scorching Sun searing inside through the canopy of the trees. I looked down, she was still sleeping on the bed. I landed down with a thud. She didn't budge even a little. Is she even alive? I leaned down and raised my hands to check her pulse. But as soon as I touched her flesh she jolted. Her eyes looked here and there before looking at me. She slid back frantically, horror written all over her face. Her breath came out erratically. I opened my mouth to say something but as if I forgot what to say nothing slipped out. She was just staring at me. I left the house that was located in the forest. She was frightened. Good, that's what I want. But why my heart isn't settling with this? Why I'm not satisfied. I locked the door of the house just in case she tries to run away which she definitely will. I gave a subtle jerk on my shoulders, forcing out my wings. I took a flight and sat down on a branch, observing her from the up her movements. Her features that were tangled up relaxed a bit. She rushed towards the door and tried to open it. I knew it. After a few futile tries, she gave up. She sat down on the bed, pulling her legs closer. She was playing with a thread of her dress until her eyes noticed her scars. She traced her finger on them. Her body movements were placid now. Only subtle shakes. Her shoulder slumped and she heaved a sigh. She leaned her head on the wall behind her. A bird sat down on the open rooftop of the house. Her head slanted, and she peered over at it. I noticed how the terror on her face turned into relief then into tiredness then into happiness into joyous. Her lips which were turned down for so long were uplifted into a grin. It fascinates me. How human can change emotions this fast? As if they're traveling on a train where every stop offers its own emotion. She is one interesting creature I'm curious about. She has scars on her wrist yet her lips uphold a smile. How can she find joy in life if she loathes it? What preciousness this bird holds that she forgets her worries and is smiling at it. Her stomach might have grumbled as she clutched her stomach. She must be hungry! Why do I care?

I landed on the rooftop with a thud. She got startled. I threw a few mangoes to her that I found in the trees. She looked at the mangoes and licked her lips. But she didn't pick them up.
" EAT!" I growled and she flinched. Her stomach made a weird noise. She slowly picked up the mango and ripped it from her teeth. Her eyes rolled back and she took pleasure in having more and more. She moaned in ecstasy. I felt something in my stomach stir. My eyes scanned her moves. The way her eyes closed in pleasure, the way she nibbles on her lips, the way a moan escaped from her lips. A weird sensation slithered through my body. I gulped. She hesitantly looked over at me. Her eyes were sad but hopeful.
"Your parents might be crying for you, what hope do you have? That they'll come and save you" She pursed her lips. Sadness crossed her eyes. One can hide anything but eyes always speak the truth. Someone told me this. She must be worried about her family.
"Why you didn't kill me yet, I think that's what you're good at." She glared at me. I squinted my eyes at her. Why didn't I kill her? I even don't know myself. I clenched my jaw muscles.
"I couldn't." I delivered my words honest but rather forced. One moment she was beaming with anger and now confusion suffused her whole face. No longer able to hold her questionnaire gaze I flew. Far yet not so far from her, from her questions, from my questions.
