MIA POV:

The bustling of people, smiling, laughing crowd, different voices sellers shouting to sell their goods I heard as I entered inside the market. It's always like this. I hate going to crowded places but I'm compelled to do it anyway. After all, It's my duty today to do grocery shopping and this place sells goods at a reasonable price so yeah. well isn't it funny where I live, is the most crowded place yet I'm not used to it, and on top of that I had to bring these two stinkingly bulky asses like trolls with me to keep an eye on me so that I won't run away? I scoffed just at the thought. By the way, by trolls, I didn't mean like real ones it's just they look like one.

"Let's go Mia" I released a deep sigh, assuring myself before emerging inside. I took out the scroll from my little old pouch and opened it to see the items I have to buy.

"Flour, Rice, Sugar" I read the scroll out loud before heading towards the shops, holding my peach soft gown weaving to my feet length with those trolls-like humans trailing behind me.

*******************************************************************************

I took a heavy breath because of the heavy bags I was holding full of stuff. Jerks, Just like I said trolls with no feelings. They can see I'm struggling with the bags yet not interested in offering some help. I saw a stall selling mangoes. They were looking Plumped and sweet as my mouth filled with water. I love mangoes and can't help it. I went towards the horse cart in which I came and placed those bags there before I put my hands on my pocket to check if I have enough spare money and yeah I saved enough coins to buy some. I smiled before heading towards the stall. Those two assholes were glaring holes on my back but I didn't budge nor did they say anything.

"How may I help you?" said the salesman as I approached him. He looked at me and smiled which soon faded and now a smirk took place on his lips. Maybe he recognized me.

"How much for them?" I asked him, ignoring his disgusting stare and smile.

"Well, thirty coins for a dozen but if you want I can give you for free," he said with a smirk visibly plastered on his face. I gritted my teeth. Just how shameless they can be. cliché.

"Ok give me a doz–" I stopped midway as I heard some faint voices behind me. I turned around and saw an old lady with a small kid dressed in rags begging for some money. They looked pale and weak. I took out my coins and checked how much I have. I had only 30 coins

"How much for a single mango" I turned back to the salesman and asked him

"5 coins," he said with his eyebrows slightly raised. Jerk, according to him thirty coins were for a dozen but now for a single one, he's asking for 5 coins. It just doesn't make sense. But I didn't want to even argue with this douchebag so I nodded instead and handed him his asked price. He packed it and handed me, deliberately brushing his thumb on my hand. I snatched the bag and glared at him meanwhile he grinned disgustingly. I felt something touch my foot as I looked down. It was a spinning top. I bend down and picked it up. A kid came running toward me.

"Noona! it's mine," He said to me rather sweetly. The way he addressed me as Noona felt joyous. Sometimes when you're going through tough times, These little things cheer you up the most. I smiled at him and returned his top to him.

"Thanks, Noona" He again stated as I ruffled his brownish unruly hairs. He giggled cutely. Suddenly someone grabbed his arm and pulled him away from me

"How many times have I told you to stay away from strangers. Especially from people like her. She's not a good girl. She's a dirty woman" She said bluntly on my face with no remorse. She dragged him away. He was looking at me with his dark brown doe eyes, a shade darker from my own, a glint of sadness and apology in his eyes. He's much better than her. At least he has some dignity in him. I smiled at him and waved my hand at him showing him his mother's words didn't hit me at all which worked as his cute little lips turned upward showing me his great signature smile again.
