. ᴀᴜɢᴜsᴛ 1"Terminal 1 is right over there dad!" Zyon pointed to the sign.
We arrived at the airport at 10:00 am. The terminal hadn't even opened yet. So clearly, there was no point of rushing us out of the house so damn early.
"Dadd, i'm really hungry. Can we go and get food? We passed so many food stores on our way here. Plus the terminal hasn't even opened yet". I stated.
I was so hungry, I only ate a ham sandwich and a cup of orange juice before we left. We had a two hour journey to get here so all that food must of went into my system by now.
"The terminal can open any time soon! We need to be first in line so we can put our bags over our seats. So no, we will not go get something to eat". Pops answered, talking a seat on the metal chairs.
"But dad!!!" Me, Zyon and Nayeli all said together.
My pops is crazy. He has always been an on time freak. His favorite saying is "Being early meant being on time, being on time meant being late". I honestly don't know why he takes it so seriously, i just wanted more sleep, dang.
"bUt dAdDd!" Pops repeated, mocking our actions. He mimicked us with a high pitched voice and an exaggerated sad face.
"Babe, the kids are obviously hungry and i know you are too. I heard your stomach rumbling while you were driving. Even with allat loud music your stomach lowered the volume of the song". My mom responded, trying to hold in her laugh.
I swear his stomach growl had some sort of auto tune in it cus, i thought it was some sound effect the song used. I love my momma, she always got our back.
My dad answered back with a huff, "First of all, my stomach was not allat loud, don't be clowning me in the middle of these people. And fine, i guess we do have a few minutes to get a quick munch". A few minutes? Nah baby we got a few good hours. I'm ready to eat. We turned back and walked towards the food court, my favorite place in Airports.
"So, what do you guys want to eat? There are loads of restaurants here like, 5ive steak, AbitiNo's Pizza, Chili's....". Momma listed all the restaurants she wanted to go to pointing at each one.
"Momm... you forgot the best one!" I playfully said with a slight grin of my face. We always go to this one store and she's probably tired of us going here.
"Out of all these restaurants I just named, y'all really wanna go to this unhealthy, full of fat buffalo wild wings store? Don't be crying to me when you got high cholesterol".
