"You are all dismissed! Make sure you do the homework I have assigned for you guys!" Ms Gylde announced.
I closed my notebook and placed it in my bag, followed by my pencil case. I zipped my bag closed and stood up, hanging it over one shoulder. As I was walking towards the door, I felt a cold hand touch my shoulder. I turn back and it was the teacher.
"I expected better from you today, but I'm sure we won't have the same issue next lesson. Won't we?" she warned.
Why can't she just let this go? This bitch is already on my ass, and I haven't even done anything wrong.
"We won't ma'am". I responded.
She gave a nod and took her cold hands off my shoulder.
Ugh, I just know she is gonna piss me tf off every lesson.
"How do you survive in that class?" I asked Kayla, once I saw her waiting outside the classroom.
"Girll, i don't even know. But, she was on my ass when I first came too. Always going on bout, 'why do you have an attitude'. She got some type of vendetta on us black people i swr".
"How do you get her off your ass then?" I questioned. I needed to know asap, cus I can't keep holding my anger. One day imma snap and it ain't gon be pretty.
"She never really got off my ass, she just decreased the amount of times she would call me out. Just always be on your best behaviour and ask to help out in class. She will appreciate it, then slowly start 'respecting' you ig..?"
"So she want slaves? Ah hell nah. I ain't doing that shit. If she don't respect me, she's not getting my respect. If anything, imma transfer classes".
Kayla laughed and patted me on the shoulder. She looked up at me and realised I had a very serious face on and was not laughing with her.
