"Bro, what the fuck you got on?" I asked Dwayne. He had a full out essentials tracksuit, with fresh clean NEW Jordans. I told him we bout to go to the park and hoop and this nigga pull up with a going out fit.
"Y'all didn't tell me what y'all were gonna wear, so the first thing I saw was this, and I put it on". Dwayne replied.
"Dumb ass. Since you wanna look all put together and shit, you can sit this one down".
Dwayne shrugged and took a seat on the benches. This guy is so weird, he is one of Bryan's friends that moved into the neighbour hood, but he hella strange. He not one of us, ion think he ever gon be. How do you not know what to wear when somebody tell you, 'we gon play basketball' ?
We always have a mini basketball game in the park every Saturday night. Today we had to do it on a Sunday cus majority was doing sum. It's where the whole gang meet up and come to the park, chill, hang out and watch the game. We always be blasting music and vibing. It's all jokes round 'ere.
It was currently 8pm and I was still sore from practice and the gym. But I was now getting used to it, so it ain't that bad. My limp hasn't gone yet thou, so that's a shame.
The first day of High school starts tomorrow. I'm finna be a junior now. Its crazy how time flies. I'm not nervous though. It's not like it's gonna be a big change, apart from the year im going to. I know everybody in the school and I'm cool with majority too.
Unfortunately, I still had to go school today. My coach wanted to talk to the team bout the upcoming semester and some of the changes that's coming. I had to come in for 2 hours and so we did a brief practice. The rest of the day was pretty chill, so I went out for a walk to clear my head.
