AN. I'm so so so sorry for the long wait and the terribly written chapter (at least in my opinion anyway). I have had a rough week, I'm so sorry.

THIS CHAPTER IS NOT PROOFREAD, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Chapter 10

I screamed so loud, I'm pretty sure I woke the entire neighbor – that is if I have one and they may have a wrong impression also as to what I'm screaming at. I drop my purse and heels on the floor and bolt into the kitchen looking for a knife. I may sound suicidal, but instincts are crazy.

"What are you doing in there?" a familiar voice asked.

"Looking for a knife to murder you." I answered, still rummaging for a knife in the dark kitchen. I'm terrified that once I switch the light on, the intruder might locate where I am.

A heard a deep chuckle, "Why would you want to murder me?"

I turn around, empty handed. Looking for a knife without lights on is completely useless, "Because you want to murder me?"

The lights flicker on and my eyes blurred at the sudden brightness. I blink for few times, before my vision cleared and adjust to the bright light. It gave me the impression of waking up in the hospital once when I fainted from exhaustion. I shuddered at the thought; never again will I go back to the hell hole.

I turn to face the kitchen entrance and what I found cause warmth to spread on my cheeks, there is no doubt that my cheeks have turned scarlet. Standing by the kitchen entrance is Andrew who wears nothing but a pair of sweatpants. His arms are folded on his chest and damn that abs... I want to lick every inch of them.

"Now do you still want to murder me?" he asked cockily, raising an eyebrow.

I turn redder (if that is even remotely possible) and turn away, facing the sink to hide my blush. I know Andrew is one hell of a hunk, possibly the hottest out of the three and there are muscles hidden under those hideous suit. However, I never expect him to be this... hot and muscular.

"Yes," I answered curtly, trying to act nonchalant and that his semi-nakedness is not bothering me, "If you don't start washing the dishes I might just do that."

"It's not my turn tonight." The answer came just as I pick up one of the dirty mugs, "Lucca is meant to be washing those before he went on that date with you."

I detect something behind his voice but couldn't pin on what it is, but it is obvious that he is very upset. I wish I could ask what's bothering him, but I don't want to be the nosy roommate Nicholas said I am.

Instead I said, "Well, Lucca is spending the night on his girlfriend's, so we clean these instead."

He scoffs, "He went out on a date with you and then left to see his girlfriend? Isn't that the same as two-timing? You're okay with that?"

I wash the dirty mugs away, leaving the dirty plates for Andrew to wash them. I'm not going to clean all of them and get my dress wet and dirty. "Look, the date Lucca and I went, was a friendly thing. We were going on a date as a friend, not a lover. We did not kiss, nor flirt like what lovers do. All we did was talk about our day and he told me about his lovely girlfriend. That was all."

"Really?" he scowled, "I don't believe you. There is no way a guy wouldn't want to try anything on you especially when you're dressed like that."

"Believe whatever you want Andrew, I have told you nothing but the truth." I placed the washed mugs away and walk towards my bedroom in annoyance.

Before I enter my room though, I turn around and glared at Andrew who looks dumbfounded, "Just so you know, I didn't have to tell you anything, but I did anyway because you asked so nicely. I have no idea what I have done to make you so pissed at me but you have been acting like an asshole ever since I move into this penthouse, jerk."

With that I slammed the door shut and fall into my bed. Ah, my sweet bed, I have missed you today.

I woke up the next morning to the sound of someone's high pitch giggle, the sound of a woman's giggle to be precise. I stumbled of my bed and walked into the bathroom with my eyes closed. After my encountered with Andrew last night, I am in no mood for a guest. To top everything off, my heater has yet to be fixed. Wonderful, I grumbled bitterly.

Even after a short shower, my mood is still as bitter as a cold medicine. I want to strangle the woman who woke me up with a giggle that sounds like a witch. Groaning, I walk out of my bedroom and into the kitchen. Sitting on one of the island stool is a brunette who is in a short sundress. I snort at her choice of clothing, she must have death wish to dress in those kind of outfit in this kind of weather.

As soon as she sees me, she flash me her smile, showing off her pearly white teeth; I smile in return. Her smile is contagious.

"Are you one of Nicholas' conquest?" I asked, plopping myself down on the stool beside her, "It's fine if you are. But I didn't hear you guys last night which is odd. Usually Nicholas is loud as horse. Is it because he is bad? Or is it because he's boring that you just lay there and fell asleep? Tell me, which one is it? It's okay, I mean –"

"You sure are Ms. Chatty this morning." Lucca grunted as I heard his bedroom door slammed shut.

I turn around as he reached the last steps. I run towards him and gave him a hug. "Good morning." I greeted with a smile.

"Good morning to you too, Sunshine," Lucca greets in return with a smile on his face. "What were you saying to my girlfriend?"

"Oh my God, you are his girlfriend?" I shouted at the woman who is now approaching us.

"Y-yeah," She blushed although her eyes are hard, "Is there a problem?"

"Well, yeah. You can do so much better!" I exclaimed.

She burst out laughing, I heard Lucca chuckled softly, "I'm Sienna, and you must be Rachel. Lucca told me so much about you." she offered a hand for me to shake and I take it with a grin on my face.

"I am." I replied, still grinning, "So, tell me, why do you date this piece of ass."

She blushes but tells me the story anyway. Finally, something to take my mind off the inconsiderate jerk named Andrew.
