002 - A DELICIOUS MEAL
Aya spent the rest of her day running around the empty streets of Shibuya. Even when her mind told her that no one else would be around, she continued the search, yelling at the top of her lungs and when she wouldn't get a response, she'd run around a bit more, yelling the same thing.
At one point, she stopped in the centre of the streets, right where she started, panting out of exhaustion. She soon came to terms that she was the only one around, and she had to accept that or else she would go crazy and lose her voice.
After that, she went around shopping centres as a way to pass time, taking everything that would be useful in an apocalypse. What if that's what's happening? People are gone in Japan and in Aya's knowledge, she was the last person alive. If the apocalypse TV shows ever taught her anything, she had to be prepared. You have no idea what is out to get you.
Grabbing a fanny pack to stash her supplies in, she then took as many water bottles, bandages and other kind of junk that seemed useful.
She hated the fact that the fanny pack completely clashed with her outfit, and even after looking for another one to wear that wouldn't look so disgusting on her, she came to realise that every fanny pack within the store clashed with her outfit.
After mumbling her hatred for fanny packs, she strolled out of the shopping centre.
Soon enough, the sun had begun setting down, and yet, Aya hadn't seen a single person other than herself when she glared in mirrors. She had started walking around the streets again when she begun getting bored and had nothing else better to do.
With the streets covered in darkness and since the street lights weren't turning on, Aya had been walking around with a flashlight that was surprisingly working. She always hated the dark, couldn't stand it. When little, her dad would always sit in her room to acompany her until she would fall asleep, but then again, he'd usually be the first one to sleep and Aya would fall asleep shortly after when she would be snuggled in his arms.
With every slight breeze in the wind, Aya would rapidly turn around, heart pounding out of her chest. It wasn't until the streets were brightly lit up and caused the frightened girl to turn to the source, her eyes squinting at the sight of the sudden lit up screen above her.
She lifted her arm up to shield her eyes from the light before lowering it shortly after once her eyes had gotten used to it. Her eyebrows closely knit together in confusion as she stared upwards, the screen staying a blinding white for a few seconds.
Her eyes suddenly widened a bit as text then appeared on the screen and reading it, it said, 'Welcome, players. The GAME will commence in a moment.'
"Game?" She audibly asked herself, watching the screen switch the text.
An arrow appeared on the screen, pointing directly down the street Aya was in. 'This way to the GAME arena,' It said, causing the girl to turn her head down the street, noticing even more light not too far from her.
