004 - ESCAPE
Despite only being in this terrifying, dystopian world that was Tokyo for only a day, Aya had already gotten sick of it. Walking back to the safe walls of the mall, she quickly grew enraged as the boy's voice continued to replay in her head, the same sentence replaying over and over again. "There's obviously someone behind this!"
Whoever found it amusing to transport people to fight for their lives while they probably just sit around and laugh at the horrible things that play out disgusted the 18 year old. However, all she could think of was her loved ones. Her dad, Mai, Arisu, Chōta, Karube. Are they okay? She could only pray that they also weren't in this hellish situation that she was in.
It didn't help that aside from going through such a traumatic experience, her body decided it would be the perfect time to scare the poor girl with a panic attack after finding shelter for the night.
Even with a comfy bed to fall asleep in, Aya's mind caused her to stay awake the whole night, replaying the game in her head up until she broke into tears. Not only did she witness four people die in front of her, she murdered one of them. That only made her night even worse knowing that school boy had a family waiting for him and she killed him in cold blood.
In the morning, Aya decided to roam around the mall she was in, grabbing everything that seemed useful. Eventually coming across a clothing store she used to shop at back in the real world, she decided to change her clothes into something more appropriate for nearly getting killed in.
Although knowing she'd probably die in the next game or two, she continued to dress fashionably. If she was going to die, may as well look cute.
She walked out of the store wearing a graphic, baggy, shirt along with some light blue denim jeans that were cuffed at the ends. A lot more simple, but still cute nonetheless.
Even if her outfit was cute, her face definitely did not. With the makeup she wore last night still on, her light pink lipstick smudged and her mascara running down her face caused by her tears, she knew she had to get it off before any pores started to show.
Assuming the given Visa was for the amount of days she'd be free from the hellish nightmare that was the games, she wanted to enjoy the fresh air before having to endure another game of survival.
So, for the rest of her day, she continued to roam around the abandoned streets of Shibuya, purposely avoiding the expensive restaurant where she played her first game. Unfortunately for her, her freedom was cut off by the darkened sky and Aya already knew what was awaiting her.
The streets she was in lit up brightly, catching the attention of the 18 year old. She stared at the big billboard, waiting for the words to pop up.
After a few seconds of waiting, what she knew was going to appear on the screen did, pointing an arrow at where the next game venue was at.
