010 - NEW REALITY
"No, no, please! I'm sorry!" A man well beyond his 30s cried out as he fell down to the ground, his legs giving out on him. He sobbed as he looked up from the ground, the sight of a girl standing above him, her bangs short enough for the man to see the glare in her eyes.
Although the girl was without a doubt shorter than him, she seemed to tower over him as she stared down at him with seemingly no expression.
"Please... please don't kill me!" He pleaded as he continued to sob. "Y...you don't have to kill me! We...we can both win this!"
The girl let out a sigh as she tilted her head to the side. "Yeah, you're right..." She mumbled, earning a bright smile on the man's face as he nodded his head repeatedly.
"Yeah, yeah...! See?"
The girl let out a hum before she turned her eyes back to the older man on the floor. "But you did try to kill me so..." Without any second thought, she quickly raised the pistol up to the man's face, pulling the trigger before he could make any sort of noise. A loud bang sounded out throughout the arena before all fell silent.
A cheerful tune then played, ending the little silence, "Game cleared. Congratulations."
Once watching the man's body fall to the ground with blood dripping down his face from the smoking gunshot wound on his forehead, the girl dropped her tense shoulders while letting out a harsh sigh.
Placing the gun back within its holster, she turned around and strutted to the entrance of the game arena, snatching the card from the white, circular table beforehand.
Leaving the arena, she looked up to the starry sky, her eyes watching the clouds slowly move as it covered the full moon, giving it an eerie appearance.
A cold whoosh of wind blew by, sending shivers down the girl's body along with sending her hair to flow in the wind behind her. Once pulling down the sleeves of her long sleeved, black top, she stepped forward, walking to the place she called home.

She finally arrived at the abandoned garage she had the utmost pleasure of staying at. She pulled open the garage door, revealing a square room with a whole bunch of nothing.
It's still so sad to look at, she bit her lip at the sight of it before she decided to walk in, slamming the garage door on the ground.
There wasn't much in the room, only a table where a single lantern, that was the only source of light in the damn place, sat along with a whole lot of stacked books.
She was lucky enough to have a mattress to sleep on, but it wasn't the most pleasant of things to sleep on with all the mold on it from it's time being out in the rain. She would've loved to sleep in an apartment or even another furniture store but for some reason there was none in the area she was in and she was way too lazy to go travelling just to look for a more comfortable place to stay in.
