007 - BATTLE FOR THE CHAIRS

For the first couple rounds, everything was going smoothly. Well...smoothly for a game where you could die at any moment.

All six players were still alive and kicking, although they were starting to get exhausted from the amount of stress from the short timer while also trying to remember all the seats.

The walls that blocked a row of seats had begun to summon, which nearly ended a man's life before Aya saved him by guessing the song correctly.

Songs that were playing were classic hits made in Japan, easy enough to guess right.

With the sixth round just beginning, everyone ran around the room, trying to be as fast as possible to get to one of the given seats that appeared on the screen.

Aya ran towards the line of seats where she remembered one of the given seats were; E4. She quickly sat down, panting a little as she gained a bit of her strength back.

Concerned for her partner, she turned her head over her shoulder and moved her eyes across the room until stopping on the unusually calm blond. Her eyes widened at the sight of him standing in front of a wooden wall with his hands in his pockets.

Shit! She cursed at herself, What is he doing!?

Her mind soon wandered as she began to search for the correct answer to the energetic, loud song leaving the speakers.

With only nine seconds left on the clock before the round ends, she jumped up in her seat when the name of the song popped up in her head. Without hesitation, she blurted out the answer.

Chishiya widened his eyes at the sudden sight of the wall going down back into the floor. Surprised, he turned around to the row Aya was sat at, eyeing her with suspicion.

With only a few more seconds on the clock, after Aya motioned him to hurry, he casually walked along the row, sitting down on the seat he was focused on getting to.

With a relieved sigh, Aya turned back to the front of the room, now silently waiting for the round to end, which wasn't long.

She wasn't aware of the fact that Chishiya's condescending eyes were stuck on her like glue. He couldn't remove his eyes off her. She certainly was interesting, to say the least. He couldn't recall ever meeting a person who would go out of their way to save another person's life, especially if they were just strangers but wouldn't be afraid to tell someone off if they pissed them off. Yet here he was, staring at the woman just a few rows below him that seemed to have a heart of gold but also a strong mouth.

The timer counted down, starting from the number five all the way down to number zero. Spikes emerged from the seats, Aya leaning back on her seat, raising her arms from the arm rests just in case the spikes would accidentally go through her.
