As Tink closed the door behind herself, she started to tiptoe through the living room. It was already 1:00 AM, and she had spent the entire day with Damiyah and the others. Tink couldn't shake the feeling that my mom would be angry, and Tink was worried that she might even hit her..,and so that's why she's 'sneaking in'. She was tip toeing until the lights turned on making her jump, "AH-mom"Tink said, before she started catching her breath.
Tink clutched her chest in surprise, "mommy, you scared me"She spoke. "I scared you?you scared me girl I thought we had a homeless man breaking in our shit," her mom said, prompting laughter from Tink.
"You had fun?shid I would hope so, you realize how late it is," Tink's mom spoke as she opened the fridge, making Tink smile, reassured that her mom wasn't mad. "Yes, I was hanging out with them, i might tomorrow too, maybe," Tink said.
"Them? Oh, you met the friends," her mom said, looking more excited than Tink had anticipated. "Yes, they're funny and, if I'm being honest, I miss being around people my age," Tink said, causing her mom to smile.
Tink had been craving the company of peers for quite some time.
She's been around a lot of people her mom's age, which has forced her to mature a little. Now, she feels like she can start to explore new opportunities.
