Why... Just why is everyone keep leaving me, i did nothing but to be the little perfect princess they all want. I have done everything possible just to seas my parents expectations, yet... In the end, my youngest sister still managed to ruin my perfect life.

No matter what I do, people will always betray me, yeah... That's what he said, and I should have listened to him from the start.

Maybe my life was already a mess when I was young, I was the only daughter of my kingdom, however when I was born... I never received any love because love was meaningless for the royal family.

But I still hoped so, then when I was 6 years old, I found out that I have a half younger sister from my father's concubine and she was absolutely gorgeous, because she had silver hair, and both of her eyes were golden as the sun, like one of the eyes of the goddess of destiny.

When she first arrived at the palace everyone thought that she was the living legacy where the oracle said that the goddess blessed one child to be the protector. And that caught everyone's attention. She has half blood which means her mother was just a commoner while my father was royal. Being an illegitimate child could never be accepted as a royal or have the title as princess.

Yet by her appearance and sweet gesture, I guess you could say she was an exception. I was fine with her since I was happy I got to have a sister. And I promised myself that I would always protect and love her dearly, obviously she did the same, but after 2 years, I was 8 and she was 6.

Her true colors shown, the little saint of a princess turned out to be a little devil who often did everything in her little hands to take everything that belonged to me. She took my family, my people, my friends, my crown and, mostly, the love that I long desired from my parents.

I was devastated, and that's where I first experienced a heartbreak of betrayal. They called me a worthless princess because they said I was jealous of my sister, that she was blessed by the goddess, and I wasn't fit for the throne.

Indeed I was angry, very angry that I wanted to poison her to death, but... I won't go that low. So I just... watched from afar, in the shadows as I watched a happy family, and a princess being praised like a goddess.

When I turned 10, I visited the Syviolla empire, where I met two people who I thought would never betray me, and I would call true friends. My parents were invited by the emperor to discuss some business and that's where I met Darryl.

Darryl was a very weird person at first... He was quiet, not caring at all, and had no sense of laughter which made me think he was very weird and I would avoid him. But who would have thought that the business was related to a peace treaty between their empire and my kingdom.

So it turns out he was actually my fiance and I felt so disappointed at that, while Darryl... still had no reaction and just looked away like a weirdo he is.

I wanted to object, but my mother said that if i get married to the most powerful family in the world, then i would be the queen of my kingdom, which at first i thought they have given me an opportunity, yet as i felt the cold shoulder from my parents.

I realized they were just selling me off to gain more power... and point out not to be useless. So I just agreed and did as they say, because being a royal means you have no freedom for your life. You will forever be trapped in a cage.
