Velvet was spacing out for the past second as he nearly hit a pillar due to his over-thinking, but lucky for him that Darryl called him out and even yelled to him, just to get his attention which saved his head from getting hit by just a few inches away.

Velvet shakes his head and tries to get rid of his thoughts, which only helped a little bit, then Clay suddenly asked Velvet what was going on considering he was mostly distracted this past week and it is very much concerning.

Nick - whoa! you're already got engaged!!

Wilbur - not surprising, considering your already 24 and need to take on the family title as baron

Velvet noded to them, that ever since his engagement was announced just a week ago, his stress level and anxiety begin to kick in on how he will marry a complete stranger and totally not fit for his personality, Darryl who already have the experience of marriage knew what it feels like, as it was a real pain in the ass.

But at the same time, Darryl told Velvet that he has no other option but to marry a noble woman so that he can finally gain his title as Baron, which Velvet wished for all his life, knowing to finally getting the title as Baron at the Vensure clan is a change for people to not to look down on him and actually acknowledge him.

But at this point.. he doesn't want that anymore knowing that he dealt with so much shit, abuse and no sense of freedom and that this will cause him even more of those problem, but what changes his mind the most, is that he already have fallen in love with someone, and wanted to spend his time with that person, considering those two have already interact many times.

Darryl - Velvet.. listen to me, if you want to survive in this cruel world then your only option is to gain power, If you lost all of it now then your life will be entirely worthless!!!

Velvet started crying because of how tired he was, tired of being called out worthless all of his life. Even if Darryl said all this stuff now, it's no different since he has been called that by him every single day along with his family. So Velvet had enough.. He looked at the Earl with a furious expression, making the four shocked.

As Wilbur went to Velvet and grab his by the vest by his neck as he started yelling at him to not give the Earl that type of shit, yet Velvet pushed Wilbur away hard as it created a ruckus, not just for them but also the other nobles who are now watching the whole scene.

Velvet began to yell out to Darryl about his feelings and how unpleasant he treats him, using him as a tool which is fine, but hurting and ignoring his feelings are a different level.

Velvet - you don't have to pretend to care about me anymore Darryl...

Velvet - you can just replace me anytime you want.. I am no different with those three knowing I can easily be replaced, knowing you actually treat them as human beings!.. but not me.. i'm just another accessory for you.. like those gloves of yours..
