Darryl - Selena!!!

Darryl came straight running into me which I can tell he was a little bit worried and also wanted to scold me for running of like that.

Once he catch up, he actually did lecture me on how stupid I was for doing that, however I argue and explain that being a princess at my kingdom, it is my duty to protect my people.

That still made Darryl disappointed knowing I could get hurt or either get killed, but even so, I just looked away while looking at the little toddler. Darryl then looked at Inko and had a curious face as he asked me what I will do with this child.

Obviously I don't want to take it into an orphanage since I discovered that the nun and even the caretakers highly abuse the children, not even giving them any food, like they mostly don't care if they starve to death because of the low budget they receive.

I wouldn't let this little child suffer, she already suffered enough, so I gave it a quick thought as I looked at Darryl while he raised an eyebrow on me.

Selena - can you adopt her Darryl?

Darryl - W...WHAT!!

I knew he was gonna yell at me, along with arguing, but I begged Darryl to take care of the child and I even offered to help. I even told Darryl that he and I could both be her parents which he still said no and was even more furious at me.

But I won't abandon a child, since I know what it's like to be abandoned... So I gave Darryl one good reason why he should adopt Inko.

Selena - i know after our wedding you would not dare touch me at our wedding night right darling~

Selena - think about it Earl, even if we married the family will demand a child to inherited the family

Darryl - well.. yes but, they required blood related to the family-

Darryl - Selena listen to me.. Even if I adopted that child... There is no way she can inherit the dark power that is possessed by the family...

Selena - Darryl think about it... This child will be the key of your freedom, she might as well be the one to break the curse, don't you said that the God cannot reverse its curse, but if you taken a non blood related child

Darryl - then the Halo family can still continue its legacy... with or without my blood..

Selena - exactly, and plus, you said you wanted no one to take the dark power poses in that necklace, the God even said that the pendant will lose it's power once the host cannot find an owner for 50 years, so what I'm saying, Inko can inherited the family name and you can finally get rid of the cursed, it's a win win!

Darryl thinks for a little and her delusion of a plan would actually work. The pendant only needs a new host every 50 years before its power fades away. This also concludes Darryl to have a child that will give him extra points to inherit the family clan.

Because even if he has the pendant right now, the family can still replace him if he doesn't match up the requirements they asked, which is to marry before the age of 20 and get a child to inherit the family.
