Inhaling a sharp breath she descends down the stairs finally making her mind to talk with them once after gaining the courage. She was careful enough to not hurt herself in a hurry.
Sound of her aunt talking with someone, perhaps on a phone call, reached her ear. She didn't stop but turned her feet towards the direction.
She looked up with a stern face and threw glares at the small girl which she was unaware of.
Su-ah: "Now you're eavesdropping?" She said coldly and the young girl hysterically shook her head left to right immediately denying her remark.
Y/n: "No No aunt I-I wanted to ta-talk about so-something" She spoke imagining her reaction after she said those words, sending shivers inside her.
Su-ah: "Spit whatever I don't have time for your nonsense." Her rude tone was something she is used to and clutching the hem of her shirt she cascades her eyes down even though she can't see her
Y/n: "I-I d-don't want t-to ma-marry h-him." She finally spoke out with so much courage but still stuttered knowing her aunt's vicious side very well
Sheer silence engulfed the room before. No response but her breath was audible for her and then suddenly a hard slap touched her cheek making her face turn sideways and she slightly stumbled on her place because of the hard impact.
Su-ah: "What did you say? You don't want to marry him?" Her tone held anger and she tried her best to break down.
Su-ah: "You should be grateful that he is marrying you and giving you shelter. Have you seen your ugly face? Who wants to marry a blind girl like you?" Her words as always stabbed her heart like a knife.
She always drops hatred in her words whenever she opens her mouth to say something about her. Clutching her arms in a tight hold she jerks hard.
Su-ah: "Throw the thought out of your mind that you won't be married to him." With her last words she left her alone who finally let the threatening tears fall, heart paining in utmost agony.
The mere thought of marrying an already married man scared her to the core that she wanted to run away but where would she go?
She has no one.
She is all alone with her pain and broken self.
A thought asking for help from Jisoo crossed her mind. She knows jisoo will help her in any possible ways. She hadn't told her yet but she will now.
