Chapter 5 - Interns

Well there are few things I want to clear:

1.) Doctors usually have around 12 hours of work shifts and it is different for every hospital... and In my story also I have divided shifts in 2 parts (Morning: 8 am to 8 pm), and (Night: 8 pm to 8 am)...

2.) Usually, Senior doctors, especially surgeons aren't always available in the hospital... they only visit for 2-4 hours but I made my characters available all the time in case of emergency...

3.) Yoongi and other senior doctors like Y/n, Namjoon. Jin and Hoseok also teach in the med schools as guest lecturers...

4.) Also, doctors don't get weekends off, they can only take emergency or Vacation leaves... But in my story my doctors get off as there is a staff that works on weekends...

(A/n: For now that is it... I will share my unnecessary "gyan" with you all)

Yoongi whimpered in sleep when he suddenly lost the warmth and his body felt cold even though he was covered in a blanket... "Ughhhh Why are you up so early?" his voice was hoarse because of a dry throat that sent shivers down the younger's spine "Early? Yoongs it's 5:30 wake up... it's your turn to make breakfast and I'm gonna go feed Holly" Jungkook stood up and started walking but his steps halted when Yoongi whined loudly holding his back... Jungkook rushed towards his husband... "Hey hey... what happened?" he asked, being all concerned but only got a life threatening glare from Yoongi...

"YOU happened" the younger one looked at him in confusion "Huh?" Yoongi slapped Jungkook's arm and the younger male frowned "You monster... Didn't we agree to not go rough on weekends? DAMMIT IT HURTS" that frowned was now replaced with a smirk "Ahh is that so? Well, now we can't do anything about it, can we?" Yoongi narrowed his eyes and pulled Jungkook down on the bed and this time Yoongi had the same smirk "You will regret making fun of be Bun" Jungkook's eyes comically grew wide

"NOOOOOOOO"

Time skip

All attending doctors, HODs, and Mr. Min were in the conference hall along with a new batch of interns... Y/n seemed uncomfortable in her/his seat... Yoongi placed a hand on her/his shoulder "You okay Y/nie?" the said person nodded his/her and whispered "Just got punished by Namonster... btw did Jungkook fall or something? Why is he limping so much?" Yoongi's eyes landed on his husband who was indeed limping and thinking of all the possible consequences of sitting on the chair... "He is paying for making fun of me" Y/n rolled her/his eyes "You and Namjoon are the same" both of them started chuckling...

Mr. Min stood up making everyone go quiet "Good Morning Everyone, Welcome to MYG Hospital... It always feels good to see new faces... you know kids, I remind my fellows, residents and medical students that what we do is a privilege. People let us into the most intimate aspects of their lives, and they look to us to help guide them through very complex and delicate situations... they put so much faith in us that it can be overwhelming sometimes... but never forget your goal to prioritize your patients life before anything else... All the best everyone" Everyone clapped and as soon as the cheers died down HODs of all departments stood up and started pairing Interns and attendings together... Yoongi was doing the same "Dr. Kim Jisoo and Dr. Lee Hyeri.... Lastly, Dr. Cha Eunwoo and Dr. Jeon Jungkook" Young doctor came and stood in front of Jungkook and smiled... but there was something about Eunwoo that made Jungkook feel uncomfortable...

"It's an honor to work with you Dr. Jeon (the one who stole my Yoongi)"
