Chapter 11 - Begging

Jungkook went inside the orphanage and saw Mr. Chan taking twins into the office... he followed them and entered without permission... "Mister you can't-" Jungkook didn't paid attention to Mr. Chan's words and went towards the couple who was about to sign in the adoption papers... "WHAT THE-" "I am so sorry sir but can you please adopt someone else? There are so many kids in this orphanage please leave the twins for us" Jungkook requested the couple who looked at him in confusion...

Husband and wife exchanged a look with eachother before the man started speaking "Why? We came here first also can't you take your own advice? There are so many kids then why don't you adopt anyone else and leave the twins for us?" He lowly growled... Jungkook took a deep breath and thought "you can't punch him Jungkook... All you have to do is convince this man to drop his idea of adopting the kids... Remember that you are doing this for your Yoongi...Even if you are still not 100% onboard with the idea of kids...You are doing this for Yoongi'' releasing the held breath Jungkook put his best aegyo face on and once again tried to convince the couple...

"Sir... Ma'am... I know but the thing is my husband loves these two a lot... And as far as I know even the twins love him... You can ask Mr. Chan... My husband comes here every day to meet Beomgyu and Hyejin... It is my fault that we were late for the adoption and failed to understand his feelings... I never for once saw him crying like this... Please Sir... Please" he joined his hands in front of the couple and they looked at him with wide eyes... But before anyone could say anything a deep and broken voice echoed in the office...

"Bun?"

Yoongi was stunned to see his husband begging a couple to give up on the twins... Yes, he was supposed to wait for Jungkook in the car but he thought that maybe Jungkook would do something stupid and once again get himself into trouble he clearly remembers the day he punched the patient's husband and almost got himself fired... but this is whole new Jungkook standing in front of him and not knowing what to do Yoongi kept staring at jungkook with red wide eyes...

On the other hand, Jungkook was embarrassed... He doesn't know what to do now... Should he continue with his request? Should he stop and pretend like nothing happened? Should he do s- his cerebration soon ended when two small figures ran past him and clung to his husband like baby koalas...

"Chu came to abob us" Beomgyu and Hyejin asked grinning like they have won the biggest prize in the world... Yoongi crouched down to their level and smiled "I don't know yet babies... (he pointed a finger towards the couple standing there) they are here to adopt you" he tried to make his voice as stable as possible because he doesn't want to break down in front of kids but that was enough for the twins to tighten their hold around Yoongi... "NOOO... We want Chu" both of them started crying and once again Yoongi started shading silent tears...

Beomgyu pulled away from Yoongi and turned around to face the couple and Jungkook... "Uncle pwes don't abob us... we want him to abob us" he begged and who has a heart to say no the kid who looks so adorable even in tears... Hyejin also followed Beomgyu's action and requested the couple to adopt any other kid and eventually, they decided to adopt another kid and Mr, Chan asked Jungkook and Yoongi to come back tomorrow when adoption papers will be ready for them... this will also give them one more day to reconsider their decision...

(A/N: So, before anyone questions... We all have to remember that it is a fictional story... I know very well that even though male and female same-sex sexual activity is legal in South Korea, marriage or other forms of legal partnership are not available to same-sex partners... which also means that they cannot adopt a child... But...you know MY STORY, MY RULES... I hope it won't be an issue for any reader... Love ya)

Yoongi knows there is something wrong with Jungkook... He doesn't look like his bright self today... Last night, Jungkook didn't express his thoughts about having kids... Though he told Yoongi that he wants to adopt the twins and literally begged the couple to give up on the twins... There are many unspoken feelings that need to be addressed before they actually adopt the kids... Yoongi doesn't want to force Jungkook to do something he is not ready for... because something that is done half heartedly never gives satisfactory results...
